Except that literally doesn't work with one of the most successful (money wise) eroge games. Which churns out very little content twice a year and clears almost a million in Patreon profits annually alone.
Logical fallacy and/or bad-faith interpretation. That's due to the laziness of the dev, which is an entirely different blocker. I'm speaking of a scenario where the developer actually wants to create as good a game as possible and cares about their patrons + wants to get onto the next project and not milk or float on the same game for years. Most small, talented indie dev teams who want to do this for a living really are in it for the love and would/could do a lot more with better cash flow. A game created by an exploitative bastard doesn't negate my point for developers/artists who actually care about their work.

A great set of knives being useful in the kitchen isn't negated by a cook that likes to stab small animals.

The pacing of the start really changes Lenas path for me. In the OG version it seems like she is already far down the road with Robert so it was pretty natural for her to date and sleep with robert and subsequently date robert and ian at the same time. In the remaster it feels like shes pretty ambivalent about Robert at the start. She also doesn't come off nearly as horny as she originally did so even if you accept the date with Robert it doesn't make as much sense IMO for her to fuck Robert on the first date. And by the time the second date comes around with Robert she seems more emotionally connected to Ian (and again less slutty then OG version) so I found no reason to keep Robert around.

Just a weird change of pace because I loathe Robert but I think he was a good foil for Ian and a good outlet for Lena when she gets jealous about Ian being with Allison/Holly etc.

This remaster really pushes IanXLena harder than anything before (and some mild dialogue changes also seem to further indicate a future throuple with Ian/Holly/Lena).

I still think my favorite path though will be IanXCindy and LenaXHolly. Have Ian and Lena have sex but then realize they work out better as friends

They both come across to me as each others emotional rebound from traumatic relationships. And like I said in the OG version Lenas seems to constantly sabotage herself by being jealous of Ian and Allison et al and going back to Robert rather than just opening up about how she feels.

Of course a lot of this depends on how you play Lena and I just do what feels natural for the character (which has changed with the remaster). Overall I think that Ian just fits best with Cindy. They're friendly and have great chemistry and are at the same life stage. Lena is too young and lost and Allison even though only one year older is clearly already fighting her biological clock.

Then I think Lena X holly complement each other the best because Holly grounds her which Lena gets her out of her shell. I guess Lena and Ian have art but thats it and she also shares that with Holly. She also has better sexual chemistry with Holly/axel/jeremy et al than she does with Ian.

This is (mostly male) porn fantasy. If you want strong independent (and maybe frigid) women there is all the other works of fiction of our time.

That said, this is one of the few games where the FMC can be strong and independent if you played that way. Sure she can be harassed by men but you're not forced to succumb to it. If all the men were like Ian (yes you have this more than decent option), it would be boring.

Hello everyone! As you might've noticed, I've claimed ownership of this thread, as advised by my community (looking at you, Lara).

I'm not sure what will that serve for, other than giving me the ability to curate the presentation of this thread (the sample screenshots were pretty bland, and adding the trailer is a nice touch), since it's not my intention to engage into the discussion. This is your forum and has always been, and I don't want to disrupt things.

But since we've taken over the thread I wanted at least to give you guys a heads up and thank everyone who enjoys, comments and supports my work in one way or another. It made me really happy reading your comments when I finished GGGB, and it always boosts up my morale when a new good review is posted. I will continue to work to make ORS the best game I can manage to create and I hope you keep tagging along for the ride, and if you feel my work is good enough to support me on Patreon, well, that'd be awesome :)

Anyway, as a small gift to this community, here are the links for the Final release of Chapter 9.

PC

Mac

I've also added a new small scene concerning Emma, which can play in two ways depending on your choices thus far!

I hope you keep having fun with my game :)
Could you tell me does this game has sex sound effects plz such as female moaning etc...?

You need to piss her off and get her to cut Ian's work hours. Afterwards, it is imperative that you show up at the office while Seymor is there. Whether or not you deliver the book to him is irrelevant. After, wait a while and when Minerva fires Ian the scene will occur.
Ah got it, thanks!

Since people regulary ask about the recent update, including the new changelog may help:

You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
Looking at that changelog, seems like Eva thinks Lena's route is one big mess that needs fixing. Which, not untrue. Can't say i got super excited over 90% of that changelog being about Robert, Stan and Seymour.

I hve said something about it a while back. Most of games where girls are protagonists all the guys around are dicks, If you take this game as an example, most of guys wanna take her by force. Axel tried, Robert as well and the old fucker. And when she rejected them, at least 2 of them tried to fuck her life. She lost her job at the restaurant and now the old fucker wants to end her life for not wanting to be submissive ot him.

Despite that she can't get a good job other than a job where she has to sell her body. It shows no respect for women at all. That is why any chance I get I turn my girls into lesbians. It is not even because I am a man and I love girls, it is because the choices these games gives are all the worst. No decent human beings. And if the girl wanna succeed in their life they have to corrupt themselves and become sluts. It is like if women has nothing of value other than their bodies.

No wonder why there is a huge disrespect for women in the society.

In the other game, GGGB it is the same. I don't see much difference. But at least the name was already saying she would be corrupted.
Much like GGGB, this game has themes of corruption and sexual depravity. It is a fact in our society that women tend to be sexualized more (even at a prepubescent age or even younger, unfortunately) so in a game that deals with corruption, you would expect women to be corrupted. People aren't really interested in men being sexually corrupted because there is less or no taboo of men being highly sexual creatures in our society, unlike women. Also consider the fact that this game is made with a male gaze and thus, even if this is a game that lets you control two different characters that are opposite in sex and promises to involve both male and female perspective, it still largely follows a male sexual fantasy rather than a female one. This leads me to my next point which may be a bit controversial.
People here refer to Eva Kiss, the developer of this game as "she" or "her". If you saw some of my comments in this thread, you will notice that I am subtlety alluding to or implying that the developer is not a woman at all. Now I'm going to lose that subtlety and say explicitly that "Eva Kiss" is definitely a guy. I don't know why people here are using a female pronoun to refer to the developer, maybe it's because of the name or maybe the developer told them that he is a she, but he is no way a woman. To be honest, it doesn't really matter whatever their gender is, but it can be deceiving if the game is marketed as having made with a female sensibility that lets women enjoy a porn game without the overbearing male gaze. I have read a lot of books, including erotic ones and I can definitely see when a writing is not written by a woman. There is just that undertone in a writing that makes me know if something is not made with a female hand. Now to be clear, I'm not saying that I know when something is made by a woman, only that I know when something is not made by a woman, and that's because some male writers have evolved their writing and have a more nuanced sensibility rather than the usual writing of males that is so swamped with a male gaze. I enjoy reading both, but it is important to know why a certain writing is such.

If you are saying the dev is deceiving us her gender for marketing purpose.. it is a very strong accusation.

I've seen too many people saying "She can't be a girl, no girls talk like that" on the internet and turns out shes really a girl. But if you are the girl, the damage from such comment is tremendous. She also has no real way to prove her gender without revealing her identity irl. (which she obviously didn't want to in first place)

I don't know whether you are correct about the dev, but I hope you truly know what you are talking about and understand the possible impact of your comment.

So, as others have pointed out, Eva added four new characters to the gallery. Gillian and Mark already got some pictures with the remaster. But Jessica and Marcel, the bouncer, were both presumably added because they're set to get some content in the next chapter.

I'm pretty sure Jessica being added means Ian will finally meet her again in chapter 10. I think Eva also mentioned once that she's got content for them planned, but just hasn't been able to fit it in yet.

Marcel, on the other hand, is more of a mystery. I checked the interactions with him when I played the remaster: The first time is when Lena and Louise meet him together, and Louise thinks he's flirting with Lena, while Lena thinks he was only being friendly. He did call her "baby", though. The second time he recognises Lena as Ivy's friend, but not Louise (poor woman, always outshined by her friends). That's followed by the interaction where he shows some interest in Holly's writing, which ends in both of them introducing themselves to Marcel. That's it.

Anyone got an idea what we might see him involved in? It seems unlikely that Holly, even if she's influenced by Ivy, will get involved with a bouncer three times her size yet; she does literally hide behind Lena when they first meet him. I could see a night out at Blazer for Lena, where she's could end the night with several different partners depending on the playthrough—also including a spontaneous option to hook up with Marcel. But my guess would probably be something relating to Ivy: "What are you saying, Holly, you haven't gotten a single dick pic from Mark/Ian yet? You should just ask them, guys love sending pictures of their dicks. Let me send a text to that bouncer guy at the club, I guarantee you he'll send me his dick within a minute."

As you say yourself, it doesn't really matter who Eva Kiss is. But she already confirmed on her Patreon that she's a woman. Sure, people can lie about their identity on the Internet, but not only implying that she might not be a woman, but saying it like it's something you can tell for certain, is at best a bit rude. Also you're saying that you can tell when something's not written by a woman, but not when something's not written by a man—because "some male writers have evolved their writing and have a more nuanced sensibility". That also implies that men are able to evolve their writing to transcend what I assume is some kind of "male" writing style, while women can't do the same. That's not only rude to Eva, but to every female writer.

Hmm... you know that this is mostly what happens in real life too right? in real life many woman on social media that has huge follower tend to show off their body and choose to corrupt themselves for a lot of money and fames to lived like rich people with all that glamorous livestyle right? but for woman that choose not to corrupt themselves for money and fames tend to lived a very normal livestyle with normal income that cant make they lived the life of rich people that could spend money as much as they want to, of course not all woman like that, but mostly fit in this two category...

And a lot of female protagonist game in this site choose the story of woman who lives in the first category (woman who corrupt themselves for money and fames) coz this is corruption porn game so the story that they choose need to makes people excited and gather as many fans as they could... not because they disrespect woman, they just choose the story that a some of woman this day choose to lived their lives... and some of the creator of this female protagonist game is female too, and not only male that had wild fantasies, female had them too, so yeah, you cant really called most female protagonist game in this site disrespecting woman when the story itself is really happening in real life
