I personally have known at least 2 women of this very similar attitude in my life. Both were my friends, and both took a long time to expose their insecurity ridden psyches hidden under an easygoing, super open attitudes with sex.Alison and her whole "I like you but I won't tell you that I like you and then i'm going to fuck your friend while still hinting I want to date you and constantly bringing up my ex .... please love me" just no.
Question to the guys, are women really like that?
This discussion lasted for quite some time, and honestly, I feel very exhausted after it. So I think it's about time some kind of consensus was achieved.Heh, is that "end of discussion" response then?
Hey, you never know if the anti-Eva cartel has infiltrated the discussion! I could have a rival called "StaleJalapeño" somewhere just waiting to sabotage my points!I think we are all fans here.
I actually quite like Ian and Emma doing sex stuff behind Perry's back, taking Perry's call with Emma's mouth on his dick was fun. I hope they continue doing that while still trying to set Perry up with Emma, maybe she'll even let him take her on a date and then end it with a kiss on the cheek and go see Ian to get her ass filledPerry needs to be a cuck too. I hope Emma gets to be Perry's girlfriend and cucks him also with the same lovers that her friend Cindy is bringing home.
Speaking from my own experiences when i'm interested in someone, what I don't do is fuck someone else and keep dropping hints i'm interested in them.Alison's route felt pretty understandable to me. Ian makes the least bit of effort with her and she is all over him. Jeremy only seems to get in there because he puts in the work and even then only when Ian doesn't take the initiative.
I plowed through around thirty pages of intense speculation about nail polish to get here, and that felt vastly more toxic to the discourse.Hey, you never know if the anti-Eva cartel has infiltrated the discussion! Here it is then: The language Wade uses is very... direct, for lack of a better word. We do not fault Eva for using it, the language is in line with Wade's character and the situation, some players just wish they had a counter for Ian to use that is less neutral, regardless of how confrontational it would be.This discussion lasted for quite some time, and honestly, I feel very exhausted after it. Hey, nail polish is serious business pal, don't get invovled in that topic too lightly.I plowed through around thirty pages of intense speculation about nail polish to get here, and that felt vastly more toxic to the discourse.
If you really want to sabotage this thread you really need to incessantly speculate about the utterly mundane.
No one cares about your Twitter politics and making a big deal out of nothing in a great game. Each character in the scene has their own differing opinions, big whoop. Why you have decided to ignore everything about this update to go on a tirade and nit pick this one scene is baffling.I don't have the script at hand, but playing through the scene I felt that the language was borderline dehumanizing. The range of reactions went from calling trans women "men with tits", to saying trans women are an okay fetish to have.
It's whatever. It's Eva's game to write and she's entitled to have as much transphobia in it as he wants, but I'm entitled to my opinion and in my opinion this part was unnecessary and pretty telling of certain biased and beliefs.
Yes, it is strange and I do not like it, and I say it as a heterosexual woman, this was discussed a long time ago.Speaking from my own experiences when i'm interested in someone, what I don't do is fuck someone else and keep dropping hints i'm interested in them.
It's a bit weird.
Way I saw it, if a girl was interested in me then banged one of my friends, i'd never be able to go with them. I just find it a bit weird going where my friends have gone.
Plus if she was as interested in Ian as she says, like ready for a relationship, then she wouldn't have been fucking his friend.
The only interaction i'd had with her before going for a drink was getting a selfie and having a drink where she complained about her work and her ex. She mentioned nothing about being interested in him until after fucking Jeremy by which point it's far too late.
I don't recall the whole of it, but in my run with Alison she sends Jeremy maybe one kind-of sultry selfie and that's it. Then they have drinks and Jeremy is trying to get her attention but she is all over Ian.The only interaction i'd had with her before going for a drink was getting a selfie and having a drink where she complained about her work and her ex. Considering what I did today without Eva's permission (I did some damage control, but it was too late), I kinda sabotaged my position. So not a chance that I'll bother her anymore with this. I'm done being messenger, too great a cost. Want to talk to her, do that directly.I'm assuming you don't intend to bother Eva any more with this, but if you decide otherwise then consider the suggestion I made for a knowledge-lock. I think it would even be the least invasive option to the established narrative, as I assume most folks play lustful characters (it's a porn game after all).
I think I remember your comment after the first updates and how you didn’t care about Ian’s path. It is quite funny to read how much this game changed for you!So, my views on this have done a complete 180.
Last time I went through I was skipping Ian's story to get to Lena's and get her and Louise together.
Now I really can't stand Lena's story and 3 things have made me enjoy Ian's.
The thing with Lena and Louise is just so shallow and empty it's a completely pointless pairing. I'll explain. In GGGB all the lesbian romance options were fantastic. From the casual experimenting with her best friend to their falling in love, watching Ash and Jess get closer and Jess with her fantastic character growth. Even the trans romance and her character growth was fantastic to watch. All 3 were great.
There isn't a single good lesbian romance here. I don't see Ivy going anywhere, it just doesn't fit. Holly is so forced on Lena's path if you try and look at it as more than friends and after this update it's completely shit on Louise.
At one point Louise asks Lena if she shouldn't be more caring towards her after what has happened between them for Lena to just say "for what, it's just a thing that happened" and then think one morning that it's happened a bit too much. Just shit on the route completely and made it feel empty.
I also noted we have Alison with ex trouble, Lena wit ex trouble and Cherry having issues with someone she likes ... and soon to be Cindy with ex trouble. Anyone else think the ideas are running thin on what to do with characters here, it sure feels like it.
From really enjoying Lena's side to now really not liking it at all to going back and trying different things on Ian's path and finding there are 3 things that make it great.
I did start with Cherry but the whole "this guy I like where nothing ever happened turned back up and now my heads a mess" made me dismiss her completely.
Alison and her whole "I like you but I won't tell you that I like you and then i'm going to fuck your friend while still hinting I want to date you and constantly bringing up my ex .... please love me" just no.

I know I should know, I also date women, but lesbians tend to be quite straight forward. There are usually very few of us in one place so we need to be up front about what we want or we get nowhere. Just curious if straight women are that backwards.
As for the saving graces .... Holly, Cindy and Minerva.
Holly on Lena's route is a terrible option .... Holly on Ian's route is god tier. Cindy and Ian have had chemistry since the start and banging the bitchy boss is hella fun.
It almost feels like Lena is written by someone else completely. All of Ash's g/g stuff in GGGB was awesome .... here it's so shallow and emotionless it makes the sex scenes feel forced and didn't enjoy them. When the lesbian is saying she doesn't want to see the lesbian sex scenes you know something is wrong.
To go from one minute really liking Lena and not wanting to read Ian's half to really disliking everything about Lena and enjoying Ian's route .... it's weird. There isn't a single thing on Lena's route I enjoy while Ian has not only great stuff going on with his friends but with some of the girls.
It's weird that a female dev that did an awesome game with a fantastic female lead has come back with such a shallow female character. Can't explain that.
Short answer: YesAlison and her whole "I like you but I won't tell you that I like you and then i'm going to fuck your friend while still hinting I want to date you and constantly bringing up my ex .... please love me" just no.

Why does Ian need to go political in a conversation about trans porn? You can choose to either diffuse their pointless argument or you can be a dick, that's good enough. That's not a very sensible take, lifegetsweird's reaction was not sensitive at all. They're asking for an additional option that allows Ian to express a more direct opposition to the depiction of transgender. If anything, the walls of text you put up deflecting all the criticism is what's sensitive.
You're putting a lot into lifegetsweird's mouth here that they never said. They never asked for transphobic characters not to be displayed, or for the language they use to be censored, just that the player character could have an option to challenge their viewpoints or at least counter them.
Aw, that's too bad to hear, I'm sorry. I did actually notice what you refer to and intended to reply, but I always refresh the page before I make a post and I noticed you had removed it again, so decided it was probably for a good reason.Considering what I did today without Eva's permission (I did some damage control, but it was too late), I kinda sabotaged my position. In my playthrough Ian is still playing the field, Alison and Lena are both at least roughly aware of the other, and Alison is still all about Ian.Allison is strange, the only way that she doesn't have sex with Jeremy is to pay attention to her and only her at all times, if you choose wrong she will end up in bed with Jeremy.
