Why does Ian need to go political in a conversation about trans porn? You can choose to either diffuse their pointless argument or you can be a dick, that's good enough.
Why doesn't he? I see no reason why the option can't be there for those that desire it. I'm not asking you to take it. I don't even intend to take it, I think i'd still pick the "defend Perry" option myself, I'm just an advocate for player choice.

Guys what do you think Cindy will do next?
I'm really not sure. She might have instant regret at being caught and want nothing to do with Ian, to which Ian maybe will have the choice to sweet talk or not. Or, she's had enough of Wade and decides to break up with him in favor of Ian.

The player choice is already there. As I said, no one wants to read Ian go into a political monologue about Perry liking trans porn. Him saying "everyone has their kinks" or whatever it was is good enough imo.

How is that political, though? I never understood that. Taxes are political. Here the conversation has been about the potential for an additional optional response from Ian that he's not okay with his friend being an open bigot. Maybe he's just like most, not very knowledgable in the topic, so I do like that idea that with more wits Ian could drop some knowledge on him, gently and tactfully.

And I disagree with that. I don't think having a response needs to mean that, that response has to be a political speech or anything. What did you bring this up for again? I already made my point perfectly clear through several posts already.

S
NOOOOOOO.....WHYYYYYYY, So to get good Jess you have to play as good Lena? Won't Lena lose her job if she don't have sex with Robert?
She'll lose her restaurant job, but remember, you can choose to help the cafe and keep it afloat as well as do her Stalkfap so it's not a complete loss.

Hopefully break up with Wade, rather than hold on out of guilt or familiarity.
I think in all of the discussion of Wade that I have seen, I haven't observed much addressing the notion that he is suffering from severe depression.

He is also notably wearing dogtags, and I can't recall if military service was explicitly mentioned, but I've developed a vague soeculation that he has experienced severe trauma that he will not discuss and it has affected him drastically, given that his friends repeatedly make a point about his change.

Which makes me generally feel pretty bad about his storyline and wonder if there's going to be some reall heavy consequences on that path ..

In your suggestions, you are missing a point that it all is about Perry discovering Emma's open-minded nature (and potential liking to wearing a strap-on). Kinda hard to move the serious topic about defending trans-people to this light-hearted porn talk about kinks that might suggest future content.
This exactly.

Saying that trans people are people not fetishes is hardly a diatribe. It could at least be an option, considering we're supposed to be given a range of responses to pick from.

An okay-to-excellent portrayal of trans people? The only trans character in GGGB is introduced in a scene where she assaults a woman in a bathroom, and is later revealed to be a prostitute. Stellar representation, yes.
I think some people really need tobe abit more realistic and understanding here.

1. Most people are cis. It makes sense that most characters are cis.
2. These are sex games. Most characters are sexualized. So the prostitute thing was likely to stick to the sexual vibe to the game.
3. A fair number of her characters in her story had fairly shitty personalities. It's not shocking that the trans character did too. No one character is ever intended to be representative of the entire group they are part of.

I doubt Wade's been in the military lol But he does show signs of depression... And my Ian stealing Cindy away will only crush him even more. Poor dude.

Just one dark joke as an afterthought of today's discussion:

You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
Maye a controversial opinion but I don’t see how that makes the game bad.
Don’t het me wrong, I will hate Perry fiery passion. But that doesn’t mean the game or the dev is bad. It kust krans there is a racist character in the game that I want to avoid or to destroy bus life in the game.

Yes, it is strange and I do not like it, and I say it as a heterosexual woman, this was discussed a long time ago.

Allison is strange, the only way that she doesn't have sex with Jeremy is to pay attention to her and only her at all times, if you choose wrong she will end up in bed with Jeremy.
Yeah, Alison is a very strange character indeed, but I think that's why I like her lmao. I kinda see similarities in her and Louise in that they're both emotionally needy, unstable, jealous, and kind of childish to some extent. I would like to think Alison would be a good gf to Ian, but what happens if Ian does something she doesn't like? What happens if Alison thinks he's cheating? Etc

I think people are misunderstanding some things. It’s not that people are against offensive language or slurs if that’s what the character is like. It also doesn’t represent what the author believes. No one is calling for censorship or removal of anything. But a more positive response is a valid request or wish to have. There’s nothing at all controversial about that!

I wonder if Alison would be okay with a threesome relationship if Ian is also dating Lena or Holly? Does that work?
