I kinda knew Ivy was popular with both patreons and F95 users but this whole "im going to drug my friends and people are still going to defend me" popularity is wild to meo_Oo_Oo_Oo_O
Really, with the wild acclaim Arthur gets both here and from the patrons, you're surprised that drugging people into having sex could be less than capital offense for a character to commit?:coffee:

If Eva actually followed patreon polls and demands for making her game like these people claim to, we'd be having BBC gangbangs, Arthur and Ed going town on all female cast, Ivy with a male cast and Lena cheating on Ian with Jeremy by now, not to forget Ian would've been dead already but considering we don't have any of it till now I doubt it.
These polls are just for patreon engagement.
On the other hand, we do apparently have some Jeremy and some Stan action, which was also something that patreons wanted.

To be honest the scene came across completely different to me than it has to you and others. For me the level of infantilizing of Holly as a character required to blame her actions and choices on anyone other than her is what is wild. It removes any agency from her. She's a woman not a child. If you're a grown ass woman and the only "coercion" needed to get you to take drugs and suck of 7 gross losers is your friends will be disappointed in you by any metric you're pathetic and that would be entirely on you.

Which in my view isn't what happened anyway. Holly is making choice after choice that is leading her to be the sluttiest of sluts. Not much different than the sluttier versions of GGGBs MC where she increasingly went of the rails drugs and sex wise.

Holly is this game's Ashley, the good girl gone bad that's going off the deep end with sex and drugs we just don't directly control her this time. Slut Holly is for the streets, as it should be.

This game is so good that I want to play all the routes, so far I played Ian alpha, Ian alone, with Lena but I never got the cuckold
If you tell her that you like the idea of other men seeing her on Stalkfap and when she's giving you a footjob you ask her for details on why she is so good at it (regarding her sexual experiences with other men), then you will be on the cuckold path.

I worked at a strip club as a bouncer for 8 years. I have spent a ton of time in a strip club. I'm going to tell you right now that you have no idea what you are talking about.

Your statement is False. It is the sex positive bullshit that your gender studies professor who never set foot in a strip club will fill young minds with. It is all theory and no practice.

Working as a stripper can indeed involve significant risks and challenges that may not align with the notion of a "decent, honest job" for several reasons:

Social Stigma: Despite efforts to de-stigmatize the profession, society often attaches negative stereotypes to strippers and the adult entertainment industry as a whole. This stigma can lead to discrimination, judgment, and social isolation for individuals working in this field.

Impact on Personal Safety: Stripping often involves interacting with intoxicated or aggressive clientele in dimly lit environments, which can pose significant safety risks for performers. Instances of harassment, assault, and violence are not uncommon in this line of work, further highlighting the dangers associated with the profession.

Impact on Relationships: Working as a stripper can strain personal relationships due to societal judgment, jealousy, and communication challenges. Partners and family members may struggle to understand or accept the profession, leading to conflict and emotional distress.

Exploitative Work Environment: In many cases, strippers may face exploitative working conditions, including low pay, lack of job security, and pressure to engage in activities that they may not be comfortable with, such as providing sexual services or enduring harassment from clients.

Physical and Emotional Risks: Stripping can expose individuals to physical dangers, including assault, harassment, and substance abuse. Moreover, the emotional toll of objectification and the pressure to maintain a certain appearance can contribute to mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem.

Difficulty Leaving the Industry: Exiting the stripping profession can be challenging due to limited transferable skills, ongoing stigma, and barriers to alternative employment opportunities. This can trap individuals in a cycle of dependency on the industry, making it difficult to pursue other career paths or educational opportunities.

Legal and Regulatory Challenges: Depending on the jurisdiction, stripping may involve navigating complex legal frameworks and regulations, including licensing requirements, zoning restrictions, and potential criminalization of certain activities. This legal ambiguity can create uncertainty and vulnerability for individuals working in the industry.

Limited Career Advancement: While some individuals may choose stripping as a temporary or supplemental source of income, the lack of opportunities for career advancement within the industry can hinder long-term financial stability and professional growth.

Heroics are measured by a different bar of conduct than foolishness, greed, or attention seeking.

If my kid is getting attacked by a bear, I'm going to have to step in and put myself between the bear and my kid. I would definitely be sympathetic to anyone in such a situation.

That is not the same thing as me going off the grid, and going to Alaska and trying to be one with the bears like . As for Timothy Treadwell getting my sympathy? Not so much!
Very well put. Most people in this forum are immature kids. They talk a big a talk, but most of them have never even left they room to buy candy in a store lol. They have 0 idea of what a life really is and 0 experience with women. I will even tell you this. I know many of these people thinks that a relationship with a woman goes exactly as they see in these vns. What is a shame.

It is a bit funny to me that when discussing the morality of the actions of characters, especially sexually, it's all done in a completely unconnected way from reality. No one gets pregnancy scares, STIs/STDs, loses their job from things being shared online, assaulted or raped, robbed, overdosed. I know GGGB actually does one or two of those, but I think so far in OSR it's opportunity costs. If you don't get naked for the old man, you won't get all those extra dollar dollar bills, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.

Without trying to sound like it's additional criticism. I do think that the ongoing discussion between ffive and manscout is a perfect exhibit of why Lena needed to be included in the Holly Hole scene. If in fact Holly is on drugs, it puts the onerous on the player to encourage Holly to do them. It's a pretty large leap to smoke pot for the first time at the beach to taking X and sucking off seven strangers. A Lena that has partaken in molly alongside Ivy however can encourage Holly to take the drug, which I think would be the correct amount of peer pressure to make such a significant leap. If Holly is just cum drunk instead because she's living out her stranger fantasy, at least we as the player know that's what it is.

If you're not happy then I hope you find peace.

I'm guessing an "Ivy" type of character hurt you in your life. The "crimes" is a bad aspertion but I think that's an error in translation.

Enjoy the game, your life, it is what you make it.
Xupuzulla is a profession shit stirrer. Feel free to ignore.

So are the patreon polls just for the fans to get some "extra" content with scenes of their preferred pairs in each update, or does Eva actively change the course of the story/contents of an update based on the poll results? If it's the latter, it'd be pretty disappointing.
I really hope the story and character development don't take a backseat in favor of fanservice.

And it also would be better if it had a proper set-up, like inviting Stan to the shoot and have it unravel, rather than just jumping to the end. Haven't seen the romance yet, thats probably far worse to sell just by the premise being nonsensical and not justified.
It's horrible, that's what it is. There's zero chemistry between them and not just because Stan was written like an incel. I like beauty&beast content but their relationship should have progressed differently, the "romance" was definitely shoehorned in.

Like you said, using Stan for her Stalkfap material was a good idea since she has to have a certain mindset to make money off of her subscribers anyway. Another path could have gone into the direction of professional cosplay where both make a killing and Stan becomes a prolific 3d (printing) artist, with Ian providing the book material to get his career on the road as well.

Again I don't think Ivy is a villain or trying to harm Holly, but her idea of being friendly is to insist on other people doing things her way and going along with what her idea of fun is, and anyone that disagrees is either foolish or an inexperienced prude. That kind of attitude is what makes her a bit of an asshole.
It's way past the point of giving her the benefit of the doubt. Her motivations are not just out of good-will based on her own world views. It's explicitly manipulative and hedonistic. She just wants to see Holly turned upside down. The tone of her dialogues in the video she sends Lena is mocking/smirking/amused, not encouraging/sex positive/girl power. And that's just this most recent strike against her. She's had many many moments where the reader has to question her motivations and whether she is genuinely just a free spirit thot or manipulative queen bitch. And it's exceedingly clear that she is the latter by now.

I'm not even saying this as someone who is disillusioned by my future waifu Ivy. I'm clearly a corruption player and fapped to Holly's downfall lol.
