Yeah, at the moment it's a perfectly sound logic. The inconsistency with that stance begins when Ivy gets Holly into her claws and successfully seduces her into a casual "educational" sex and can even invite Lena to join. So, if Lena was really only looking out for Holly, you'd think witnessing that she successfully got over her Ian crush and doesn't mind at all the casual sex (to the point of being used by a wannabe player), she would admit that she was too overprotective of Holly and was wrong to lash out on Ian like that. After all, Holly who has a lot of fun with Ivy and Mark wouldn't really care if Lena gets back together with Ian or not, so why keep this awkward distance just to punish Ian for something that wasn't even his fault (if he broke the kiss) and deny herself the sex with him?I don't think Lena is being inconsistent -- her whole reluctance with Holly comes simply from her knowing that Holly has feelings for Ian, so she wants Ian either to commit to Holly or refrain from leading her on, in order not to hurt her. Lena making out with Louise or Ivy isn't going to bother Holly who doesn't have any known feelings for either of these two.
Easy Mode lets you start the game with Level 3 stats. So you'll have a big advantage at the start of the game, but you'll still need to manage stats as you move forward and build relationship with characters. Cheat Mode is basically the same thing, only it maxes out all of your Stats to Level 10, thus saving you from the need to farm altogether (except for money which can run out and will). However, you'll still need to pursue characters and build relationships with them if you want to unlock their scenes. Making wrong choices will lock you out of the scenes, same as having too low relationship points. So do i need to play on cheat mod to get all scenes or i can play on easy mode and i will just need to farm levels ( i don't want to get block cuz i don;t have idk charisma level 5 )
Just play with Cheat Mode if you don't wanna juggling stats and prefer to focus on the story. So do i need to play on cheat mod to get all scenes or i can play on easy mode and i will just need to farm levels ( i don't want to get block cuz i don;t have idk charisma level 5 )
I don't think it is all that weird -- it's common for people to treat people with different degree of respect, and to care about some more than others, depending on personal preferences. Lena is on record as a big fan of Holly even before they meet and get to know each other. In contrast she doesn't hold that high opinion of Louise (not surprising when you can see every day the way Louise can act) and even less about Mike's girlfriend she doesn't know anything about (other than said gf has allegedly smaller bust) So, caring about Holly's feelings more than she cares about Louise's or Mike's girlfriend's, it's easy enough to explain.Dunno. If hurting feelings is what she is avoiding then I don't think she would cheating with Jeremy even though she been friends with Louise for a long time and is her roommate. Same goes for Mike who she knows already has a girlfriend. It is weird that she suddenly becomes goody two shoes when it comes to Holly.
I think the main issue with the relationship talk when Lena’s slept with Jeremy, as well as Lena’s reaction to Ian+Holly, is that one of the protagonist sees a previous event in a different light than the player. Which is an issue when you’re having two protagonists and they’re interacting, because you can’t use other characters’ reasoning to apply limitations to our choices. There's a tendency among fans of the game to be very generous in reasoning away disjointed writing. The plot turns of a selfish, inconsistent or irrational Lena are totally fine. But they have to be justified smoothly enough in the text to not set off other readers' bullshit meters. I think the back-and-forth disagreements here are merely evidence the text wasn't handled smoothly enough in those situations, as these were also, of course, lock-outs and plot-turns of convenience based on development time limitations along with certain later plot-points and pairings Eva wanted to push.
Writing smoothly for such a magnitude of multi-paths, especially within such limitations, is assuredly tough though.
And now, to announce my next game, Finnegan's WankIt's a Patreon funded porn game not Finnegans Wake, I'm not looking for perfect writing.
Agnes, a rich old socialite that makes minimal appearances in the Seymour route. Notably when Lena and Axel posed for Seymour.I noticed a grey haired older lady (the one with the jacket draped over her shoulders) in the tier lists that you guys posted. Who is she? I don't remember ever encountering her in my playthrough of the game.
Ah, that makes sense. I avoid the old bastard so that's why I've never met her. Would have loved to get me some Agnes though.Agnes, a rich old socialite that makes minimal appearances in the Seymour route. Notably when Lena and Axel posed for Seymour.
Agnes depens more so on Axels route than Seymours. If you avoid Seymour, Lena has a shoot with Danny and they meet Agnes and Axel to trigger the temptation scene with the latter.Ah, that makes sense. Thanks for the info buddy.
I am all for it if there are different plans for one of the 2 main characters, however 1 is getting a constant short end of the stick when it involves the both of them, in my personal opinion. So for example what I said about the Holly situation for the both of em. The Jeremy situation is a bit different but however what I am trying to say in this respect is that the Jeremy thing makes not so much sense, but if she had other plans then by all means, however in this case make it so that Ian get's his fair share, for example Ivy and Louise, make em both available for him.I think Eva just had something different in mind for Lena, Jeremy and Ian which makes the relationship between her and Ian get in the way. Maybe even saying "it's getting in the way" isn't a correct thing to say; more like it's just not the direction Eva wants to take.
A lot of this is true, When it involves people you know nothing about or having no attachment too, there is no loyalty or care. However if it is someone you know or are invested in then emotions do act and enter the stage.I don't think it is all that weird -- it's common for people to treat people with different degree of respect, and to care about some more than others, depending on personal preferences.
