As to Ian, yes writing is a hard field to get into. You have to do the grunt work necessary to get yourself to a place where you can get noticed. But why does the character have to be a useless leach who sits around feeling sorry for himself? Compare him to Lena. She's struggling too. When she couldn't afford the cost she dropped out of college no matter how hard it was to abandon her dreams. She works two jobs and all the modeling gigs she can get. And she sends money home to her parents.

The contrast between the characters couldn't be more stark.

It seems like you're complaining because Ian is putting in the grunt work. He's working at a lousy job to get his foot in the door while he writes his novel on the side. He even has the option to work a second job if his hours are reduced. Ian's arguably ahead of Lena because he actually has long term goal he's working towards, whereas she is just grabbing whatever job is available with no particular plan for the future.

Now it's certainly true that Ian is taking money from his parents while Lena is supporting hers, but that's just because her parents have no money of their own; it's not like Lena was paying her own way through college before her dad's medical bills exploded. Lena might well rely on her parents too, if that were an option.

If your complaint is just that you don't like Ian's personality or dialog, fair enough. But I don't think having an entry level job or taking money from his parents are the root problem here.

I am not one of them, but I can understand why such an opinion exists. First, her scenes are very hot. She is very attractive, tall (a couple of guys wrote here that this is a big plus) and of course has a gorgeous bust. In the scenes themselves, she is quite active, plunges headlong into the process, behaves submitted and easily agrees with the suggestions and demands of an inflamed Ian or Jeremy.

Secondly, she is a rather interesting person, with obvious flaws, but also advantages. But perhaps the former attracts people more, this her some insecurity and problems with self-esteem. In general, she is quite cheerful, observant, easily flirting and a good conversationalist.

Third, of course, the impregnation fetish.

Meanwhile Cindy hasn't had any sex scenes at all so when we do get to fk her, in ch 7 for example, it feels like a victory of sorts. I wonder how ppl will feel when Cindy inevitably gets an Axel path later on. Will ppl start whining as much when Cindy has sex with someone other than Ian? Seems very likely.

TLDR: They hate Alison not because of her character (Cindy's is pretty shit by comparison), they hate her because she actually has a sex life and sleeps around with other guys like Jeremy.

She starts fucking around for a combination of to get attention / self-esteem issues / Jeremy is intrinsically hotter-stronger-bigger than Ian.

The idea that the only reason Alison wants to be with Ian over J is because he gives her his absolute and undivided attention in all things is a cucky vibe I don't enjoy.

Sure- people should be able to have their sex lives and enjoy them ect- but the game constantly rubs Alison x Jeremy in your face if you aren't on her path.

The 3-some suggestions were particularly obnoxious- right at the end of the great trip after satisfying the fuck out of her. You can follow her path completely except for telling her you love her and she still brings it up.

Also, Alison makes Ian look like a child- so that ruins things a bit too.

I think it's not an inevitable event (at least if you're trying to help Wade and Cindy fix their relationship), but yes, it will definitely cause a shitstorm, and not just for Cindy fans.

Alison is into Ian because she's had a huge crush on him for a while, the game's not trying to give cuck vibes it' simply trying to emphasize her self esteem issues. If Ian rejects her at all she's absolutely devastated so she uses Jeremy to cushion that, Jeremy is just a slab of meat to her, she's not interested in a relationship with him, it's why his dynamic with her is purely sexual, with most of their conversations being straight up flirtation and nothing else(like to ppl just looking to hook up); While her dynamic with Ian more deliberate and cautious, she'll often beat around the bush and confirm whether Ian is actually interested in her, and even pokes around to see whether he's dating other ppl(especially Lena who name she "apparently" can't remember). She wants his validation, it's why her romance scenes are more intimate and intentionally submissive, but due to her self esteem issues she requires full on commitment.

I think their introduction plays a big part. Cindy gets a good introduction in which she's friendly and bubbly for the most part. Alison gives off brash and self-absorbed vibes early on, especially if Ian doesn't pursue her outright. She's somewhat rude and talks over people. She wants to be the focus of the conversation, etc. Such behavior is a big turn-off.

Also, people love the Cindy character the most because the dev modeled it after Nancy A. If Eva had decided to use Nancy's likeness for Lena, I suspect this game would've been a lot more popular than it already is.

I have nothing against Allison, but I somehow can’t connect to the love route with Ian. I don’t get the vibes like in the Lena / Ian story. Okay, it’s clear that this are two total different stories, but for me she is the classical friend with benefits (even if it’s clear, that Allison wants more from Ian). Also, Ian doesn’t help her a lot (maybe it’s because of my choice). He fantasizes more about Cindy even if hadn’t had sex with her. I fucking love Alison for my reasons. First, i think a woman who shows straight interest and hots for me is a big turn on. Second, her body and her scenes with Ian are hot as fuck, i really like how naughty she can be and how this make her more into Ian that she not even think give attention to Jeremy.

I also love her as character. Just like Ian and Lena, we see Alison in difficult moment in her life and with more struggles than any other NPC, in my opinion. She was dumped by a guy who is completely out of her league (screw you, Milo!), lost her former job because of things out of her control and now work in a shit job who doesn't fit her professional expertise and have to come back to live in her parent's house. She has this inner conflict of while she wants have fun and explore her sexuality to recorver the time she lost with Milo, she feels is getting behind because her colege's friends are married, get pregnant and starting a family while she keeping hang out in bars like a teenage, in her words. That's why i like see Alison as a "third non-official MC" together with Ian and Lena.

I fucking love her the same way i fucking love Lena and Holly. My only fear is if in a path where my Ian end-up with Lena or with Lena and Holly (Holly Trinity, i belive), the only fate of Alison is be use and exploit by that douche Jeremy

That’s the dilemma of the Allison story, or you break her heart or see ends up being the toy of Jeremy. Maybe she likes it and it can lead to something good for Allison and Jeremy, but I don’t think so. And honestly, she deserves something better. In the end she is not a bad person, just a bit too annoying for me.

She definetly deserve someone better than Jeremy and even better than Ian in certain ways. I'd love if, in a path where Ian really like and care about Alison but doesn't love her (basically my Ian/Lena playthrough), she can start hook up with Jeremy after the trip but won't like or get satisfed the same way she get with Ian (that alison_satisfaction variable could influence this). But in the end, since she can't be with Ian, they simply keep being friends and she find a better and satisfactory job and another great guy with whom she can really build a future. That's a final i want for Alison when she can't end with Ian.
