Ah. Yes, the repeated actions turn random eventually (after the action is used 3 times, iirc). This i believe is to make the player vary their approach, by using a range of various tactics instead of just repeating the same move over and over and over. Or because writing 3 variants for each action is already plenty of work and doing more would be too much for what's essentially just a little sidequest. Or a bit of both.
That's going to be an automatic block? I might need to redo my save if Cindy blocks Alison's romance.
Cindy's path is kind of greedy insofar as it blocks a lot of other options for Ian. Even if Ian doesn't try to romance Cindy, and only wants to fuck her, many of the early game options get cut.

No Cindy's route doesn't block Alison's "route" as of NOW but just this sex scene with Alison in this prologue.
