Allegedly Eva was asked this and they answered to not be interested/comfortable writing scenes with male characters. Regardless if it would be better for the game or not, if the author doesn't want it, forcing it would be highly questionable.

If the author is ok I don't see why not. Do you want to remove femdom and ntr too because it's a huge turn-off to some people?
The only downside is the additional time to do it, in adding more routes/characters
I mean, it's pretty much the reason why some games indeed avoid these themes.
But: it should be noted there's also a difference between picking themes of your game at the start of development, and introducing them suddenly in the middle of the game or even later. You only need to see some of the games which had their authors make "suddenly, NTR" updates out of the blue and how well it panned out for them, to realize that controversial topics are best to be announced/introduced early, so the audience knows exactly what they're getting (invested) into, otherwise it's a ship that already sailed.

It would be different, if EvaKiss made a new game and have gay people.
People who make femdom or NTR games usually have "NTR" or "Femdom" tagged from the very first game release, so that no one will be tricked, even if there is no action yet.

There is femdom and ntr in ORS. Sure now it may be too late to add gay content (always optional of course), but femdom is also not in the beginning of the game, only the last couple chapters

He'd probably not invite two-pump-Jeremy if he was directing porn. It's usually an important trait in male porn actors that they can last for at least a bit.
I wouldn't say it's a complete impossibility, we just don't know what Holly would be willing to do when she's with Ian yet.
Remind me, her being with Ian negates most, if not all, the holly change stuff that Ivy and Lena can otherwise inflict in the game, right?

While you're right, generally gay is used for men and lesbian is used for women when we need to specify gender. This is just semantics though.
I think with Holly change, on the IanxHolly exclusive path means she can only reach max level late into chapter 11, but if its Ian path with Lena also making her move on Holly she can get max Holly change variable much earlier, this means outfit change and also Ian being able to stick his finger up her butt by an extra inch.
