Not gonna lie, Alison going full manipulative bitch and antagonist would be based. I mean think about it, she gets cheated on wholesome route = drama = based. Bimbo Alison is more about having fun and she does not care too much about the casualties but not sure if there is more to her.
Slut Holly having some sort of development would be pretty wild like more manipulative or simply developing some sort of interesting personality trait beyond Ivy's slut starter pack(although her fucking some guy that leads to complications would be fine too but the question is who would even cause such a thing at this point) Wholesome Holly essentially requires conflict for her route to not be too boring(her having a hot sister leading to complications or simply either Holly having the possibility of her fucking Ian's dad would be wild).

Well Arthur was the most notable/memorable sidecharacter in GGGB, he also displayed the most depravity and had the most impact on the main character. Compare that to the wet fart that is Seymour. EK didn't fuck up, this is exactly what they wanted to do from the start. A less hardcore, more romantic story - by some accounts more realistic but at least imho a lot more boring. Add to that the slowed / elongated development process you got a recipe for problems. Thats why we see more cameos, more callbacks and fanservice. Again Seymour was set up as more of a villian but has no been nerfed into oblivion. What EK wants to do in terms of writing, or feels comfortable with, with at least to a degree incompatible with what was hinted at and what a considerable portion of fans want.I really wonder if EK expected Seymour to be super popular....

Watch out Seymour haters. EK is reading all the hate and is pissed that you're not loving EK's beloved character Seymour. Watch him get a lot more scenes with not only Lena, but also with Emma, Holly, Cindy, Alison, Cherry, Ivy, Louise, and Gillian (Seymour doesn't give a fuck about Minerva, he's into blooming girls, not wilted hags). He's going to become the villain you wanted him to be, steal all the girls and be the baddest fuckboi Stan can only dream of.

The result of such actions is known to everyone, if you make a game in such way just to anger the fans, “own the chuds”, then be prepared that the game will bite the dust.
in regards to EK, I believe in their approach with this title thus far, and personally have no issues with any of the characters and or routes. if Ek wants to have seymore eventually get all the girls into a corrupted harem and cuck ian and the rest then guess what it will happen cause ek is the one making the game. I'm one of ek's supporters and will continue to support ek

I don't disagree with any of the above being potential outcomes. I also think a slightly different vanilla version might be that Minerva leaves her husband but doesn't want to be married again at all, and sees Ian occasionally for some good sex but is more interested in being single and playing the field. Just from how she describes her husband and their marriage, I don't necessarily get the impression she thinks marriage in general is all that great.
But the other consideration to take account of is the book contest. Remember, she's one of the judges, and may be able to throw the award Ian's way even if Ian has rejected getting involved with Seymour. Is that reasonable if they have a good relationship? And/or if Ian uses her for sex but dominates her? Or will she try to tank Ian's chances regardless? We'll see how it goes. But I do think the book contest, and not just the sex, will play a role in whatever the endgame is for an IanxMinerva pairing.

1. Since Lena had even a heart option, it would be consistent if she could hook up with him again. The Holly hookup was very halfhearty, so I can't say this sideplot will develop.
