Robert is definitely the biggest miscast in this game. Totally unbelievable how a woman like Lena should do something with someone like him.

I think Ian and Perry encounter him before we get to know Lena works with him.

I usually play it so Lena agrees to go to the bar out of curtsy but make responses so that he doesn't put his icky lips on hers. Then rejection.

Finally got around to playing this last update. Sort of a build to the next big thing for upcoming chapter(s).
Holly shows more of her hidden desires, though a bit reactionary.
Everybody else are more predictable(probably not the correct word) I'd so so not really more to add.
Guess we have to wait till Holly dresses more to impress as well I suppose.

Are there any other characters that can do surprise changes?

Yeah, I have received in the past like 2 explanations of what Robert's role is supposed to be in the game, one said Robert was meant to be a boytoy for a mean Lena to use and abuse, and the other said Robert was supposed to be a light version of a gross partner for the main girl (in the sense of what Arthur was for Ash in GGGB).

But I really feel like his character lacks appeal for both roles, I don't really care for the kink but I figure people that do think he's just not "gross" enough to work as a fetish (maybe EvaKiss was trying to introduce him as a douchey fucboi and see if that worked for the whole degrading fetish).

Now for the boytoy role, I feel EvaKiss just made him far too unnappealing, I get not wanting him to ever outshine the actual important characters, but she should have only made him either douchey or a bit of a loser, not both. I don't care how much of a nympho you want your Lena to be, she pretty much always had better alternatives than Robert.

Also Lena doesn't seem to ever like, really start abusing Robert so that you could maybe give a femdom spin to his route. Sure she gets to keep her restaurant job, whoop dee doo. For this dynamic to be interesting I think Lena would have to be getting Robert to cover shifts for her and take her to expensive places or buy her things she want, but that hasn't really been the case so far.

Robert is just a side character, don't think to much of it. Perhaps over time something actually interesting happens. Not every character needs to written with the best polish in mind. Impossible to do.

Maybe this is a pessimistic take, but I think Robert exist solely for there to be sexual content in the demo without it being Ian/Lena (which would then be the main course to entice players to pledge to download the full version). He just remains in this role, a sex scene archive for Lena and a punching bag for Ian.

I'd agree with that. Just starts off as the easiest scene partner for Lena to get and has had little meaningful development since then. He's been pretty consistently the least liked character in the game too, but he's still getting scenes as of chapter 8 so maybe there are plans for him in the future, who knows. I think more likely he's just an easy character to write scenes for at this point, so Eva just keeps including him to pump up the number of new scenes per episode lol.

Oh yeah I'm well aware that he disappears if rejected since I always reject him too lol. I don't know to what extent Lena has to get with him to keep her job, but apparently she is fired in chapter 8 regardless.

My comments were really just speculating that him continuing to get scenes may indicate that some actual development may finally happen on his route at some point (though I personally doubt it will happen). I believe that a vengeful robert will be the key, for an extortion or to blow up a beautiful relationship, or maybe to force Lena into the wrong path if she does not take it on her own

Considering Lena has been keeping Mike on the down-low and probably won't just flaunt him around suddenly just cos they like each other, that sort of confrontation probably won't happen in ch 9 unless Ian shows up at Lena's house while Mike is there.

It's probably way too soon for the Axel-Ian fight too - I feel like there will be a big build-up for that one cos it seems a much bigger deal then Robert-Ian was (if you think of the 'default' storyline as Axel = Lena's past leading man, Ian = Lena's present leading man). Players have to have the chance for Lena to get back with Axel for real, or reject him - in other words, proving her intentions toward Axel. I think there is a good chance that Axel's content will start for real in chapter 9, possibly when Lena visits her mum in hospital and stays with her parents for a bit (since if anyone is gonna pop in at that time, it will probably be Axel).

I think before the fight happens Ian will be given some opportunities to score friendship points with Axel, so maybe if they become good enough friends by a certain point the fight can be avoided altogether. Another important consideration is if the player chose to have Ian confess to Axel regarding having had sex with Lena, when they were at the bar. Not only can that potentially determine whether Axel feels he can trust Ian to be a good mate (because he confessed when he could have kept it secret), but it also takes away the greater shock of Axel finding out about Lena and Ian if/when Axel gets back with Lena, and reacting really badly.

I'm hoping for Axel to be the gateway to some Jessica and Ian scenes. She wouldn't be the kind of person I'd want to stick it into irl, but the fact that she's kind of damaged and trashy is in itself kind of attractive.

I'm not sure to what degree it will happen, but personally I'd love to develop a friendship between my chad Ian and Axel, especially as that would make more sense then chad Ian remaining with Perry and Wade till the end of the game. It's already shown Axel and chad Ian have something in common to bond over - their creativity/appreciation of art as writer and photographer, and their womanizing. But maybe that friendship will only happen if Lena doesn't get with Axel in future, and what Ian and Lena have doesn't get serious.

I think friendship between the two is very much possible. Given that you can play a game without Ian and Lena hooking up.

I feel like the dispute with Robert has sort of run its course by now (unless 'third time's the charm'). The first fight was really more to set up a precedent for the second fight - where Ian couldn't believe Lena was with the douche he fought the first time.

But who knows, y'know.


Yeah but that almost certainly won't happen in chapter 9 because the tension between Cindy and Ian will be drawn out for a while longer, while Cindy continues to try to play happy families with Wade and deny how she feels about Ian. Gotta play with all that awkwardness, guilt and juicy sexual tension!

If the confrontation does happen, Wade wouldn't stand a chance unless he takes a swing when Ian isn't prepared for it. And if it does happen, I'm hoping that we can choose to take the L and not retaliate, cos it's just gonna make Ian look a whole lot worse in the eyes of his friends (and probably Cindy) if he beats Wade up on top of having taken his girl from him.

See, I'm not really sure that Axel and Ian will end up fighting. I feel like it would be a little too forceful of a certain type of character arc, unless its canon that Axel is the guy who fucked Gillian and thus destroyed Ian's relationship. But even then, unless Ian is friends and or dating Lena (which I haven't been playing in my playthroughs since Chapter 7), it would be hard to uncover that. I feel like the conflict would be a little too forced to come to a head potentially otherwise. Unless Axel reveals it himself. Which may not be completely out of the blue.

I would love a fuck off scene with Jeremy and Ian, plus 2 girls. The Guy who can fuck his girl the longest and hardest wins. Maby he get to fuck the other guys girl. Could be a IanxLena and JeremyxIvy where if Ians lust and fitness is at a certan levels he out fuck Jeremy and get to fuck Ivy or if too low Jeremy gets to fuck Lena i front of Ian.

Out fucking Jeremy won't be too hard since he lasts three thrusts and a second... I'd prefer a scene with Louise or Ivy to be honest if there is going to be some sex with partners in each others company, but I feel like its a little too porno-reality for it to happen in this universe.

I can't quite recall entirely, but I think Emma mentions that a guy wanted to progress things between her and him which she was not interested in at one point, something of the opposite perspective to how Robert behaves with relation to his relationship to with Lena?

As said I don't personally play his route, so I don't recall the details.

One of the main reasons Jeremy scene is very popular (and why I voted for it despite preferring Ian protagonist) is that in porn, people want to see big cocks. Look at any porn viewing statistics, and you would see people overwhelmingly prefer huge cocks in porn. I know giving Ian a normal-sized manhood was from a storytelling angle to tell the story of a guy rising up despite being average etc,, but from a porn perspective is simply not good. That is not to say Ian scenes are bad, but Jeremy scenes are definitely better because Lena has a bigger toy to play with.
