I just didn't really want the scene for any of my Lenas, so rewound and tried to reject the contract at the restaurant in every scenario that would let me.

I'm not completely opposed to the concept that Lena might find a contract like that attractive, at least if she happened to be specifically materialistic or in really dire straits. I don't think I'd want to play a route where I accept the deal, prior to Seymour being able to blackmail Lena, just yet, but it might be an interesting route to explore when the game is completed.

I'm chalking it up to a fetish/fantasy Eva liked enough to make it a major hard-to-avoid path in the game.

Yeah I think it's the same with both Seymour and Axel actually, I think the point is to really showcase Lena's submissive tendencies and how she gets off of it, but I think both scenes are a bit problematic because being submissive is not the same as "being overtaken by lust at the mere act of being refused sexual restraint."

My wife is submissive but it's only on good days I'm allowed to dom her really, it's very much about being in the mood in my relationship.

Given that Lena was able to break up with Axel in the first place I've always assumed it'd be similar for her. Yes she likes to be sexually submissive, but I always interpreted it to apply only under completely consensual circumstances, not completely against her will and not under all circumstances.

She could've preferably made it possible to reject Seymour's "contract" interpretation and just walk out of his office, though there are quite a few other scenes in the game the user is basically locked into after a point.

Now that you mention it, doesn't the contract specifically stipulate those details? I don't think it'd be hard for Lena to argue that the acts Seymour wished of her in the office were outside of the bounds they signed to.

It'd be very satisfying if Lena could take him to case on the limits it sets too. Realistically it should lock him in too. Don't like that I don't wanna give you sex I don't have to? Well cancel the contract then and give me my 10 vague money units!

I can definitely see how this particular one would bother some not to have that option in the office and I'm sure it might've irked me more personally if I was at greater risk IRL to those sort of situations.

Yeah. I've had a few nasty superiors during my career but none that went as far as Seymour did and I shut them down just at the mere indication of anything untowards. I do like that Lena can just say fuck him at least if she hasn't gotten too close to him.

I think the best option for Ian is Holly all things considered. That's ofc if we are talking about long term relationship. If we are talking about random hook up better go for Ivy. Holly is the perfect girl. Lena is better with a guy like Axel i think.

Yeah when I did the playthrough to check this, I found it interesting that Jeremy gives you this warning, but then you never get the phone call.

So there's definitely foreshadowing that he's going to move in on her, but the missing phone call seems to imply she doesn't take him -- this time.





It might be a dick move, but she's not cheating on him because they haven't defined a relationship.

From a woman's point of view, asking a man on that trip and getting shot down would be a devastating blow to her ego. For a woman like Alison, who is already insecure, calling another guy to go instead is definitely a realistic and in-character move.

Edit -- Turning down the trip can knock your relationship meter down from full to half. It's a big choice.

Now that I saw all the girls names in line like that, I see that they all have some strong flaws in their characters, even more, Lena is actually the least bad of the bunch now that I think about it (IMO). The males are worst but still... The only options if you want to avoid corruption are Ian and Holly... About corruption, there are so many games Only about corruption and I played many, that now if I see one with Female protagonist that actually give a non corruption route, I jump on it right away. I make it my main playthrough and tend to explore other routes latter IF the game is good like this one is.

I hope she doesn't become like GGGB MC corrupt path in my honest opinion would feel cheap.

Also agree she is the least bad but honestly, when the game is finished I am most likely going IanXEmma (hope Emma is a main route Fuck Perry), and unless she gets better options to romance wise LenaXHolly because as much as I love a good corruption I can't stand Axel, Seymour is way more bearable and fits well but since I am viewing Seymour as the villain I going to do a bad end run when I want her to get her with him.

Well, there's more to a relationship than sexual ability.

But as you've probably noticed from my posting history I don't actually think any of the men are "proper" for Lena. I've got my chip on Holly for her.

I agree but I think it's because Seymour's coming at Lena with this intense interest with fairly little explanation. Even when she asks Seymour and he says "you're an interesting girl" everyone's immediate thought is "lots of interesting girls out there," like, it isn't really a satisfying explanation. So it is hard for most people to understand why he goes to such lengths to obtain Lena specifically, at least from what we know so far.

Another thing is that his involvement with Lena has been fairly minimal. Sure, he's taken a pic of two with her and optionally included her in some riqué stuff, but besides dialogue with Emma and his (outside of Lena's perspective) apperances in Ian's route we haven't really been demonstrated his wealth and reach to a satisfying degree.

I mean sure she love being dominated but that's just sex doesn't make up for the fact that Axel is an extreme creep honestly one thing I dislike I said in another post there is no good male romance besides Ian but out of all those It would go.

1. Ian- I most likely will try for an IanXEmma route but honestly the only good guy in her path
2. Stan- for the jokes that the Nerd got the girl and just cause while he is creepy he is not nearly as bad as the others.
3. Seymour- feels like a natural bad end so I guess he would be number 3

Everyone else is just unbearable in my eyes.

Honestly not surprised that Eva is quick to change her face. You can tell Eva really wants Lena to be likeable to the fanbase. First she fixes Lena's reaction to Ian fucking Holly in ch 8, and now she fixes Lena's face.

If it's not another fix, then it might just be the old sprite, if it appears differently, because she actually increased it previously.

Apart from dialogue changes to make Lena seem less like an asshole (she used to be really mean to Ian), the consequences were changed too.

It used to be that Lena can still kiss and have sex with Holly even though Ian was in a relationship with Holly. Not to mention doing the threesome with Ivy too if Lena picked that option instead.

But now for Lena to do the threesome with Ivy and Holly, Ian needs to not be in a relationship with Holly (either by not having sex with Holly or breaking things off immediately after) and Lena (either by ignoring Lena or breaking things off).

That's the gist of it. I dont wanna write a whole essay because (i) Im not fully aware of all the details and (ii) I still have not managed to get the fabled Lena x Holly scene (assuming it's still in the game).
