I'm interested in something, do you guys make a save for each route? I feel like i can make a save for each girl with Ian because i like the girls but with Lena there are some male characters i dont really like, like Robert ( kinda blackmails you ), Jeremy ( cheater, wants to bang every girl ) so i kinda end up going for lesbian route and the Ian/Lena route.

I have three primary saves for this game. My first playthrough route where I just play blind and make my decisions based mostly on my gut feeling for the discussion / scene at the time. Then I have my id route where-in both Ian and Lena are basically completely dominated by their ids and are both selfish pricks. Then I have a loving route where Ian and Lena are great friends and encourage their friends to be better.

Other than those three I have a bunch of random saves at various points throughout the game that I can pull up and test different choices or how a scene or dialogue will change.

I have a heap of saves for various routes for Ian and some for Lena. I skipped Robert, Stan, Louise (with Lena) as I not interest in those paths. I did keep Jeremy and Seymour even though I'm not a fan. I am hoping to see them get what they deserve.

So I played this game on the update and realized that overall, this game is lighter on actual story plot when compared to GGGB.

It's very much like a sex fueled soap opera, since all your options matter much less than your sex life does.

In GGGB you could end up with a good job or end up in prison, the choice was yours... but in this game all that seems to matter is how much drama do you want based on how many people you are having sex with.

Both men and women virtually throw themselves at you so it is not a good dating sim like say... Leaving DNA or even Intertwined, which has at least a few girls you actually have to date and won't gave sex right away.

I guess that's all there is to it, and when sex is a cheap commodity as it is in sex VN games, if there is not an interesting story nor some other interesting themes at work (a good mystery or scifi for me), I tend to kind of lose interest.

Unending Void, for all it's flaws, STILL has more of a story going on than ORS, and Leaving DNA has left them in both in the dust from it's inception because of how character and story focused it is.

I won't even mention COBD... the story left the building in that game several updates ago and it became a sheer sex fest.

While I agree the story here is getting more and more like a soap opera and an after school special like, it's still waaaaay better than GGGB, which is shit compare to ORS in every way.

I just find the game that has 11 Updates having only 3 sex scenes for one of the characters rather disappointing. You would think the story by now would go much deeper than that, especially compared to GGGB.

Look at Seymour, he has two scenes with Lena and they are basically the same. Meh.

ORS is a little bit of a soap, especially in the last chapters but GGGB's plot is like a shitty erotic movie from the 90s. Got lots of good sex stuff but if you prefer a VN with some story behind it, GGGB aint it.

I understand your position. But I dont care about good story if behing it only vanilla sex scenes, it is just borring. GGGB has GREAT sex scenes and story good too. If I will need good story, I will read a book or play normal game. Everything else make no sence for me in porn game if pors scenes are vanilla. Sadly, ORS still in this category

Agreed! Don't get me wrong. I loved GGGB. It has a ton of hot sex scenes and a ton of variety, but as a story it can get pretty ludicrous. Nice quiet girl's boyfriend goes off to Africa and next thing you know she's slinging dope and fucking her dad? Please!

The plot of ORS is much more plausible: young hotties hooking up, trying to figure out their careers, making questionable choices both personally and professionally. I guess you critics need Perry to be a sleeper spy or Holly to be an alien from outer space who's awkward because she doesn't understand human emotions or some shit?

To each their own, yes, but I actually don't like VNs where there's a big plot and characters are dealing with really serious problems that have nothing to do with love or sex. Have any of you actually lived through some kind of harrowing event, like being hunted by bad guys or scraping for food? In some of these games I'm like: how can you think about sex right now, dude? Save your energy for survival!

See, I'm the other way around. I really like good stories and don't really care if there's only vanilla sex scenes as long as they're nice and well written. In fact, I greatly prefer them to so many of the overly-convoluted fetish stories in other games. ORS gets bonus points for having various organs vaguely approaching realistic proportions.

You do know The N in VN stands for a novel? Why bother with a VN if all you need is jerk off material? Just watch some porn and be done with it.

I do agree with you about one thing, the sex scenes are better in GGGB for the most part. Apart from that, the art in ORS is miles away and the story is more down to earth. No stupid edgy crime stuff, no crazy ass incest stories and no endings that make no sense at all(not yet at least).

The Perry sleeper spy thing made me think (not sure how my brain made the relation) that Perry could be used to deepen and advance Seymour's plot with both Ian and Lena. Perry being a lazy fuck and smoking pot could be a political liability for his father, Seymour could offer Ian/Lena money and/or advancement on their careers in exchange of embarrasing evidence on Perry.

Sometimes it feels like some of the secondary quests on Mass Effect (and other RPG) where you are trying to save the galaxy and one guy wants to use you as a glorified fedex guy.

I don't really get this distinction, most of the GGGB scenes is "vanilla only" too. If your point is that you're into incest or blacked content and that's what makes GGGB better, then there's shitload of games which deliver that in spades as their primary premise, instead of something tucked in a corner as an option.

There is no Exciting Element in porn unless a good story is involved or the girl is extremely hot. In latter you will eventually get bored and move on But Porn with Good Story is what make Audience stick to it till the end. Mindless sex is only interesting for only a short period but a story will hook the audience. That's why we have a audience which are debating to different content's of the story in threads.
Without a Good Story it will be just a mere mindless sex which is accessible from buncha sources.

Both GGGB and ORS are great games,only one is more wacky and trashy while the other one is more grounded.
Both have flaws throught,like GGGB is very barebones in terms of looks,even in some of the sex scenes the art is just mediocre.
And i agree with ORS being too much of a boring soap opera at times,like the Lena-Cherry-Axel drama wich is super boring to read.

Propably not between Ian and Louise, because Eva said in the Q&A that she had to cut some routes for here, because it would have been too much. Ivy seems likely after the recent scene in the gym and the flirting later.
