Did Ivy have something to do with Cherry/Axel/Lena? Just replaying the bit with Holly/Ivy/Lena shopping, and the way Ivy talks about things is super sus. She's deflecting hard, before it's even necessary. Did Ivy hook Axel and Cherry up?

I'm late to the party on this but it's a question I haven't thought about in a while, and it made me curious if others have changed their favorite path(s) over the past few chapters, as I have.
If you asked me at, say, the end of chapter 10 or so, I had a handful of paths I was playing, primary IanxLena and working towards the Trinity, but also other paths including IanxHolly, or IanxCindy, or LenaxLouisexJeremy. But as both Ian and Lena's options for more intentional sex, leading in some cases to relationships, have increased, and especially since the Trinity happened and we as players could get there from either IanxLena or IanxHolly, I'm now only playing three primary paths:
1 - IanxHolly, with the Trinity. Ian & Lena encourage Holly to be bolder but she isn't involved with Ivy outside pole dancing classes. Ian focuses on writing his novel. He's also over Gillian, but Lena isn't over Axel, and along with being seduced by him again, she signs with Seymour but cautiously, and doesn't respond to his advances. Lena is on Stalkfap and enjoys casual sex with girls (Ivy, Louise) and a couple of guys (Jeremy, Mike) but isn't trying to steal Jeremy on the sly and is uneasy about sleeping with Mike (as it turns out, with good reason). She's going to have to figure out what she wants, whether that's Ian & Holly, or someone else.
2 - LenaxHolly, with no Trinity. Lena is building her harem, sleeping with Louise and with Ivy (and now with Emma) but is realizing what she and Holly have is special. She lets Ivy influence Holly a little bit, but not much. She stays away from Seymour, is over Axel, and is in general uninterested in men, though she is on Stalkfap for financial reasons. Ian meanwhile has struggled hard to get over Gillian and is making progress. He focuses on MMA, and enjoyed the threesome with Jeremy and Alison, but the women who really intrigue him are Cherry and Minerva, and he's been building deeper relationships with both. But lately he's been thrown for a loop by Emma's affections at the beach house, and now there's three women he will have to choose between.
3 - The horndog path. Lena has abandoned Holly to Ivy, and is enjoying how Ivy is helping her change. She's sleeping with pretty much any guy she can get with, including Robert (though she finds him annoying and hopes to palm him off onto Holly), Ian, Mike, Jeremy (she's amused by the idea of stealing him from Louise), etc. She's not over Axel and can't say no to him, and is fascinated by Seymour and the financial security he can offer her, including sleeping with him to try to gain some leverage over him. While she enjoys teasing Stan, and finds it funny that he's a simp for her, she will never sleep with him. Ian is sleeping with Cindy behind Wade's back. He may or may not have real feelings for her, but right now he's having too much fun with pretty much any girl he can get with, including some hot hate-sex with Minerva and being occasional fuck buddies with Lena. He's encouraging Alison to be a bimbo, nailing Jess was especially hot, and he was pleasantly surprised by how Holly jumped his bones at the beach house. He's sorta writing his novel but isn't particularly good at it, he's sorta training for MMA but isn't particularly good at it, and he's not over Gillian by a long shot.
So there's no IanxLena path I'm playing anymore, or at least not at this stage of the game's development. I'm curious, along with the original question from Silvataurus about favorite paths, whether your favorite paths have changed significantly during the last few chapters.

Lena can still get in a relationship with Ian in chapter 12 even if she fucked with Jeremy before, provided both Lena and Ian have selected all love options previously and I guess Lena not actively fucking with Axel, Idk about Ian's side of things though.

Does anyone feels like Lena's side of the story is turning into late Ashley 2.0 ? This game was different because it had a deeper story, but now that looks like is gone, at least for Lena.
One more thing, do you guys think we will ever get more cosmetic changes? I get that tattoos, a beard or another hair style/color involves a lot of work. But Lena could at least get some additional piercing: nose, tongue, nipples, VCH, etc. It will be way easier to manage as they don't need to appear in every scene. Besides, Jessica needs something to do, the lack of clients is too much for her. The poor thing has to go toples in the mall to attract them. #JusticeForJessica
- Robert - I always viewed him as a female Allison. I know he's not liked by many, but there was no attempt in the last 2 years to make him at least a bit interesting. Allison is a really good alternative LI and she also a slutty route. Robert is just a booty call, not particularly interested in anything, he has no desire to impress Lena further: "hey drop by my place", "how about a club night, let's dance" or "let's go on a vacation" (the assets from Ian's trip with Holly and Allison could be reused here, maybe it's a popular tourist destination)
- Mike - well he is Cindy, but without the thrills. He's role is clearly that of a partner who cheats on their significant other, but while this was ok in the first 10 chapters, the relationship is not evolving. Or it is evolving backwards by adding Ivy into the mix and ignoring Lena. What could be done to fix it: just get him out of the club and Lena's apartment. Maybe show how Lena can't wear perfume because Mike's girlfriend started to ask questions, maybe they go on a date in the shopping mall and Lena has to hide in a changing room because Mike's girlfriend's best friend is there. You don't need to show the character, just add some dialog. You also get the added benefit of having a public change room sex scene after.
- Jeremy - He's just a fetish. He's initial description: Ian's friend, works as a bartender, he goes to the gym and likes to fuck around remained the same. He's not even a gym bro who would attempt to get Lena more interested in other forms of training. Missed opportunity for a gym locker room or shower sex scene. Added bonus if Ian's around and she has to hide.
- Louise - the hot Perry of the game who went home. Lost potential for being Lena's "good" friend, an opposite of Ivy who leads her on a different path. If Ivy introduced Stalkfap, Louise could introduce... a library and the desire to finish university.
- Stalkfap - Is still there, but the comments are gone. That was the best part. Missed oportunity for talking and thinking about other stuff - maybe someone offers her a large amount of money for a dinner and a hotel visit - maybe someone is a porn producer and asks her if she would be intrested in a casting video. Lena doesn't have to do it, just think about it. "Could she do it?" "She needs the money, but what would other think." Add a dream sequence, let her imagine it while she's with some guy, use some role play.
- Ivy - Speaking of prostitution, I still hope there is a hidden reason why Ivy has a Bentley. The oprtunity of her encouraging Lena to go after Suggar Daddy Seymour is gone, but she can still reveal her own mysterious benefactor. Would be kind of stupid, but he is in the game already so you might as well use Arthur for this.
- Cuck route - It looks like this will be similar with the GGGB cuckold path: humiliation, denial, without any intrest for how your partner is feeling. I am sure there is an audience for this, but I can't help but feel like a vixen/stag or hotwife approach would have worked just as well, if not better, for the game. All the needed background was there: Ian getting aroused by his Gillian dreams, being a bit insecure about his ability to please Lena combined with her desire to be wanted/desired after Axel cheatead on her. With time she could help Ian get over his insecurities by showing him she loves him, while also geting a half-open relationship - open for Lena - which allows her to satisfy other needs and fantasies they both have.

What is more sad about it, is that it also happens while you are in a normal relationship with Lena. Or at least it did. I had a play through where Ian still struggles with Gillian, but is in a committed relationship with Lena. A pure path in which he opened up, told Lena about his dream, without being on the cuckold path and then this happened. It felt like a moment of betrayal.
Maybe this is a bug. PilotLara - In chapter 11 - Ian can have a point in ian_cuck, which will let him tell Lena about his dream. Immediately after that there is a footjob scene, in which an athletic Ian could reset his cuckold status to 0. If that happens, the above scene doesn't make to much sense. Ian is no longer on the cuck path.

I think she wanted to ORS be somewhat vanilla/light BDSM story game, but then she lost her enthusiasm for the game/have writer's block and decided to write the game according to patron's wishes. We all had the feeling that the game will turn into the softcore version of GGGB.

I think she wanted this story to be something to that degree sure. Yet around Chapter 6, when she started and began the whole 'rework' bullshit with at the time Wade, everything started to fall part. Chapters later we got the "Stan Update", which made zero sense to begin with, not to mention didn't change him one damn bit. So the circle of downwardness really started back around Chapter 6.I think she wanted that ORS be softcore story game, but then she either lost her enthusiasm for the game/have writer's block and decided to write the game according to patrons wishes. We all had the feeling that the game is turning into softcore version of GGGB.
What could have been the reason why EK lost herself and way is certainly up for debate: Writers Block, Wanting more of her fetish money, lack of confidence, bit off more than she could chew, or all of the above. Personally I say all of the above. Had she actually taken the time to write shit out throughly, much akin to how writers do with chapters, as well as not rushing herself to put out updates, we likely wouldn't be in this shithole of a mess to begin with. I mean really, pointless ass cameos that only Lena gets to fuck with and Ian gets fuck all with the lone exception of a BG Jess? EK hasn't hit rock bottom here, she is beyond rock bottom at this point. She is now on point to reaching the core of the fucking earth with how much of a miss she has done. And likely, atleast I hope to fuck, this is a hard lesson for her to learn. Maybe, just fucking maybe, she will actually plan shit out and not do shit on a whim. She'll less stress herself out and stop setting planned goals of releasing shit. And maybe she will take up some writing and story classes as well to help her writing and try something new. Naturally, while I hope for that, I've been far to jaded with the current results and doubt such things will happen, among other prospects.

If you look back at GGGB, it's a story that is psychologically quite simple but Eva unpacks the psychology in a number of really interesting ways. I think that ORS was intended as a far more psychological and character-driven story and while I think she's struggled to deliver that while keeping her audience onside and providing regular updates that are playable and advance the story, you have to allow for the fact that A) ORS is a huge step-up compared to GGGB, and B) Eva has been extraordinarily productive and consistent despite clearly struggling with some of the decisions she made early on.
Could ORS have been better? I mean sure... but look at this thread and consider how many of the posts are basically people going 'I found this character hugely evocative and I want to learn more about them by having the story go in this direction'. Eva will learn from this and the next game will be even better.
There are times when this thread teeters on the brink of being a venue for out-and-out fan fiction. To look at that and consider this project a failure is just demented to my eyes.

Yep,one of the biggest problems with this thread is that people have insane headcanon fiction about EK and the characters...im guilty of this too,im not washing my hands.
But at least i dont try to make the patreons the villains when they are the ones funding this great game.

Yea. Many people complaining about literally anything in this thread. They want to completely change some things/characters for their own personal tastes/preferences instead of just sitting and enjoying the ride.
In the meantime Dev make new record of paid members, break 3k barrier and get 3119 patreons. People love this game

I think a lot of people need to discover the joys of writing fic...
I am a Minerva/Ian femdom fan and very much like the idea of Cindy fliting with Ian at Jiu-Jitsu and Ian walking straight past her at some party in order to lavish attention on the older woman that Cindy decided to dunk on in the pole-dancing class at the beginning of the game while Cindy is still selling feet pictures over the internet and humming-and-hawing over maybe going on a date with the black guy who has been fucked and summarily discarded by Lena, Alison, and Louise.
I don't see it as some sort of failure that Eva failed to provide this for me... she can't provide images to every degenerate piece of head-canon... the fact that she produced a game that inspired me to come up with the above scenario is a gift. Most games don't make me wonder what it would be like if various NPCs hooked up.

You mean like writing a fanfic? Oh yeah, it's perfect for those who have ideas and can write but are not good with the development. I mean that's how you start learning. By writing a fanfiction you improve your writing and use the least complex program. If you have the money, you can hire someone to code/draw meanwhile you write.

This is unlikely, she already explained how it was a pain in the ass to do tattoos for Lena, especially in the lewd CG. She considered it for Ian (as we can see in the code) but she said she was very unsure she'd do it
Most professional female authors working in SF, Fantasy, and Romance will have cut their teeth writing for sites like An Archive Of Our Own.
From the outside, Fan-Fiction can seem like people just writing bad additional material for existing film and TV series but part of that process is also exploring the sexual possibilities of different characters and that side of things can get pretty debauched... the famous example is always Kirk and Spock but I saw a fic the other day about Always Sunny in Philadelphia in which Dennis basically gets off on giving Mac a series of eating disorders. Then there's the fic about the BBC Sherlock series where Benedict Cumberbatch's character is a 12 year old boy and Dr Watson is a stern head-master.
I'd love for there to be ORS fan-fiction... don't moan on the internet about how Eva is ignoring your head-canon, write a story about how Seymour gets bored of Lena and decides to focus his energies on Perry instead!
