Indeed, Axel is one of the best antagonists I've seen in AVNs. Eva unlike the average AVN developer decided to give ian a rival that surpasses him in every aspect and that he has to overcome slowly.

So maybe my fault on the wording since Ian can technically "date" Lena without actually fucking her for almost the entire game, but I just tested it in a run and you cannot get the holly + lena trio without having Ian date Lena up until the point he starts dating Holly.

This is really disappointing, I wanted to do a playthrough where I reached the trio by having both Ian and Lena being mostly just friends up until the point where the both of them pursued Holly and that led into the trio (avoids drama over Ian having slept with Cherry, lets Lena also play the field more with no drama).

But as it turns out, if Lena doesn't date Ian during chapters 4-6 (didn't toggle on "ian_lena_dating" switch in chapter 3 by having Lena ask Ian for a 3rd date), then when Ian starts dating Holly the game never toggles on the "ian_lena_over" switch which causes Holly to just...not really care about the fact she kissed Lena in chapter 11?

This seems like such a pointless restriction, even when you keep Ian and Lena mostly as just friends there's still a good deal of sexual tension and attraction between them, so why does this route kill the possibility of the trio before Ian can even decide how he feels about adding Lena to his relationship with Holly in chapter 12? If anything this is even worse because it means Holly kissed Lena and then decided to keep it a secret from Ian...

It seems that the game treats "ian_lena_dating" never being turned on as meaning the player never wants Ian and Lena to ever be a couple. I dislike the idea of never having a potential late entry point to the IanxLena relationship but I can respect that design decision. But the trio with Holly should be an entire different dynamic, it makes no sense to have it depend on Ian and Lena having dated a couple of times more.

For the first, there's an 'open together' type path both at the park and the early part of the beach-house. 'Full open' requires Lena or Ian to cheat on the other, know about it, then call the other out. There's a lot of nitty-gritty in the walkthrough, but that's the gist, then the right one needs to propose the true/full open relationship. It hurts their connection, but then they are both allowed to fuck anyone (it seems).

I remember some time ago that Eva was surprised about Ivy being less popular than Holly and how close Emma is to Ivy after the popularity poll ended. It's actually not that surprising cause whoever gets more "screen time" will be more popular in VN's. I still don't understand why Eva gives Allison a gazillionth useless titjob scene but we are not even getting a photoshoot session scene with Ivy in it. She probably does not think Ivy is that much of an interesting character but neither is fricking Louise dude like come on. Hopefully we are not getting near to the end of this thing and we'll start to see more of the "Venom":p

I have a theory: characters who are most likely to be in relationship proximity to Ian (friends/close friends or flat out relationships) will get more screen time.

Ivy is more of a backstabbing/homewrecker to female characters so far, she fools with Jeremy because it fucks with Louise or Ian to get Lena, keeps Holly away from Lena as well. Same for Axel, etc. She never gets to relationship proximity with any characters so it's kinda hard to warm up to her as a potential LI.

That or they really into big tiddies. idk

Beat the shit out of him first round, jiu-jitsu the crap out of him the second round. And why not? By maximizing choices, you can master both arts (at least up to the current game limit)
