The bigger problem is the lack of content for defying Seymour. Going against Seymour isn't just a "eww, old man, hard pass" choice, its supposed to be a whole statement about how Lena won't sell out and then Seymour showing his true colors trying to fuck with her life and then...she doesn't really do anything?
Considering we got a Lena x Emma scene, couldn't that have been tied into a larger event where Lena starts getting involved with Emma's political activism or helping out in that old movie theater they are repurposing? We also still have that whole Charles the bum silver bullet against Seymour, I know EK is probably saving it for a larger event but I wouldn't have minded seeing that side of the plot developed some more if Lena is opposing Seymour.
