Yes that was my really long winded way of saying I don't think we will actually participate in many fights. That fight was considerably complex for a Renpy game and for an AVN in general. I think that update was also among the longest waits we've had for the game.

Perhaps Eva built the groundwork for the fight?

Wonder if the mechanics could be reused and development could be considerably sped up, like the pool game that showed up 2 or 3 times early game

It's Summer Tournament because the chapters with fights are only released during actual summers.

Yes the ground work has been established since the Robert fight at the museum. And the fight mechanics have also been iterated upon with each fight since Robert outside the bar in chapter 1.

But it's still a complex set of variables and if EK wants to make each fight unique and presumably more challenging that will take a good deal of time. Doing so 4 more times is a stretch.

I'd love to be proven wrong. I really like the first fight in the tournament. It was really fun the first time puzzling through choices to get a victory, and then going through again to get a decisive victory. And then discussing with others their strategies for victory. There are just a lot of factors leading me to believe we're not going to see all of the fights that would be required to see the tournament to completion or skipping some of the middle rounds.

I think we won't "play" every fight but they will be resolved off-screen depending on your results of the first fight. BTW I don't watch amateur MMA fights but Ian getting out unscathed without a single wound on his face is unrealistic?

Ehhh...maybe the skill level was too much between Ian and his opponent?

I watch pro MMA and it's rare, but happens roughly once every 30 fights or so, that fighters win without getting hit in the face. Or hit anywhere, at all. From personal observation

It’s not unrealistic, just look at the Holly Holm-Rhonda Rousey fight a decade ago; Holm came out of it as champ after barely even being touched, Rousey, not so much.

On Alison's path she already proposes getting a place together and Ian can accept if he's on the love path, say he will think about it or refusing because he wants to live alone. It has been heavily hinted for a while that Ian wants to stop being roommates with Perry and almost all of his circle have living issues.

• Alison lives with her parents and has been bitching about it since the beginning of the game.
• Emma is about to be evicted during this latest update.
• Cindy has the extra space without Wade but I guess her financial situation is about the same as when she was living with jobless Wade.
• Holly lives with her religious parents and is even grounded during the latest update when they discover she's taking birth control pills. She should have some decent savings from her book and job.
• Cherry has her own place and no problems I can remember. But I guess she could also be an alternative.
• Even Wade could end up being an alternative if Perry and Emma get together.

• Alison and her constant complaining are a pain in the ass, that's the worst part of her route.
• If Emma is with Perry, it is likely that he will offer her to stay in his apartment.

How many rounds are there to the tournament, have we ever been told?

Is there prize money? And I always agreed that Mike was a likely opponent, but I forget if there was any in-game evidence, or if it was all extrapolation of themes and likely character roles.

I think there will be three rounds and something tells me the second one will be against mike. In those MMA amateur tournaments the price is usually money.

Axel spanked content when?

Didn't the Ian/Axel confrontation outside of the club have two variations? In both, Axel goes to push Ian away, and iirc in one he can stumble, but the other (athletic and/or fit) Ian knocks his arm away and holds firm.

If you train ian he will deflect the force of axel's push and will not move. If not then axel will push him down.

Axel being a photographer and hanging out with models all day seems like the type of guy that works out to build pretty muscles. Ian's been learning to fight. Hopefully that will counter the weight and reach differences. Especially if he can get in Axel's head. I'd love if Ian messed up his elbow/broke his arm so Axel can't hold his camera properly for months on end.

Certainly, axel is vain and built to be aesthetically pleasing but that doesn't take away from the fact that he have strength. I hope eva adds the option to dislocate or break axel's arm if he doesn't give up when ian puts him in a lock.

When Ian confronts Cindy in chapter 9, choose the Lust option to let them have an affair. Not the love option. Cindy and Ian are less serious with each other on that path, so Ian is allowed to fuck around, but this applies to Cindy as well. She messes around with Axel on that route, and Ian isn't in a position to complain. (He does it anyways. )

They can look all they want, but they can't touch. Meanwhile, Seymour devoted Lena is a gone case. I'd not be surprised if she's thrown away by Seymour for a younger girl later in the game.

Indeed, but I have noticed that eva has used ivy and lena to avoid the fight between ian and axel. The last verbal confrontation between ian and axel takes place in this chapter 13 and this time ian got the last word.

I admit it doesn't look good lol But we've seen similar stuff with Lena and Axel during the photography shoot with Seymour. Their poses were extremely racy but ultimately it was just art/work (and no sex occured).

No, its in chapter 12 when Ian has to use the wits choice before the trip. She returns in chapter 13.
