Considering how long each chapter gets, how most plotlines start to be solved, and that a normal (not fucking everyone) run can already reach 8 out of 10 in all stats, I theorize it would be rather four chapters than eight.

I don't know if this is exactly what you're looking for, but Inner Empire has excellent writing.

It has a very well-written female protagonist and a rich and detailed original world set between the Bronze Age and the Iron Age in which you must make a lot of decisions that will have an impact on the rest of the game. You can define your character's origin and abilities, but always keep in mind that you are just a normal young girl without any special or unique powers.

I consider it one of the best games along with those made by Eva Kiss.

Slightly more seriously, it's kind of wild that Holly is pretty much oblivious about Axel still, even if she gets close with Lena and Ivy. It'll be potentially interesting to see what happens if Lena with didn't get over Axel and is fucking him still, but has go_holly variable raised, and Holly with changed variable (not necessarily slutty Holly, any would do) both get together with Lena's ex.

Its foremost a case of a cast too big and not letting everyone interact with everyone.
Lena is still unsure about Axel, so she is logically not suggesting Holly to try him out and settles with moderate guys like Mark and Robert for a start, rather than showing her to her ex. Even Ivy doesn't suggest to fuck him out of concern for Lena (I don't see any other explnation why Ivy wouldn't be interested in Axel, he should be a very good hook-up from Ivys point of view).
If Axel plays out his cards well (or rather the player is Lena letting fall into his hands), maybe Lena suggests him threesomes with Ivy, Cindy or Holly to appease him. Though I find it more likely Axel will be the one demanding it and Lena will be too submissive to deny him.

She can commit 100% to Holly, Axel, Seymour, Stan, Robert, Mike, Jeremy/Louise and Ivy on one run. Sooner or later this has to be adressed.

Meanwhile, if Ian tries to fuck everyone, he breaks up, the girls aren't having it being shared or the relationship status is lowered to casual.

It has to do that Ian actually commits while with Lena, almost every relationship she has is casual and only in its early stages.

Just another reason why I prefer the Ian section over the Lena ones. he has to compromise and restrict himself. With Lena, there are barely consequences in fucking everyone (aside Ian mainly).
