I presume this means, I can't recall what you pointed out in pages back, that this blocks off the point where Lena can tell her to give Mark a chance, correct? I always start Holly/Lena at its earliers opportunity, but do you know if it can be initated later? I'm curious if one could perhaps get Lena and Holly involved after this point, but I would presume that any such options, for example taking pics of her in Lena's room, requires them to already be involved.

That said Lena does mentally comment about it saying it isn’t really fair she is breaking up with him over it. I think the game tries to frame it that she is doing it more for Holly’s sake than against Ian if she was sleeping with Louise.

I think Eva really pushes the money issue way harder with Lena. It is Lena’s main driving point in the game. She really needs money to help support her terrible mother/ live in the city, and then you as the player have to decide if she would still be able to buy stuff for herself (like toys or tattoos).

Ian has money issues but he is not given nearly enough opportunity to actually spend his money besides a few outfits and a gift for his LI. He also does not have the same opportunities to make money that Lena does.

True in that sense. It´s a good example that Eva Kiss, while overall a top notch writer -compared to their peers- is completely clueless (or naive / oblivious) in certain aspects; scenarios; type of characters. It shows, drastically at times, though more so in GGGB than ORS tbf. That whole drug dealing mamacita route was cringe as fuck, too imo. I don´t remember the details, only played GGGB well after it was completed but there was talk, this Jasmine character got added in late. A high tier patron basically throwing money at Eva to do it? If true it might explain that one, to a degree at least.

Then again, Jasmine is also a very good example for Eva´s genius in terms of branching, or creating replayability. Like the current discussion re: Mark threesome. In the sense that there´s those paths you´d totally miss 99% of the time unless you use a guide or replay the game literally a 100 times. I had no clue until about a month ago, that there´s actually also a good/love AshxJasmine-ending. Get one choice -that might not even be obvious- "wrong" and you´ll never see it.

IDK about y'all, but I find it amusing that only Ian calls Lena out about her infidelity, trust breaking etc., and not the other way around! Especially when both my MCs are fucking everything that moves in FWB path.

Re-checking the script, i think it may actually be possible to still follow the initial outline, just with some small tweak: instead of interrupting Holly and Mark when they talk, pick "Leave them to it". This will advance holly_change by 1, but leave holly_guy at 1. If the resulting change is less than 5, you can still "Let Holly decide" in the follow-up discussion and she won't yet feel ready to hook up with Mark. You can then proceed with the blowjob etc as normal.

I think the good path is getting Wade to accept the relationship is over and break up with Cindy. Maybe that could end with a reconciliation in late game after Cindy gets her modeling career fucked over. Or Wade will end up as a pro player with some egirl.

Regarding this, about a week ago I encountered something that I'm not sure if it's a bug or it's intended but I just forgot to put it here till now:

So that confirms what you said that if relationship Lena/Holly or trinity, sex with Emma doesn't happen. Also if Lena and Ian are in a serious relationship and didn't already have a threesome with Louise, sex doesn't happen either, which makes sense. The part that I'm not sure if it's a bug is that if you have an open relationship since the beginning (ian_lena_open = True), sex doesn't happen. You need to have the relationship opened during the beach trip crisis.

Further testing this, I think there's another issue with that check. If Ian and Lena are in the pure path and have had the threesome with Louise, the (ian_lena_pure and ian_lena_3some == False) condition for not having sex with Emma is false but as the check is an OR, you don't get sex with Emma because the last condition would be true as ian_lena_couple is true and they are not in an open relationship.

I would suggest removing the ian_lena_couple in the last check as it's redundant because ian_lena_open can't have any other value other than false if Ian and Lena are not a couple:

IIRC this was reported earlier, since i pretty much ran into that bug face-first. So, there's some chance this was fixed in more recent builds EK is now working on.

Cool, it's a difficult if to write mixing conditions from completely different paths and checking for the negative result instead of the positive. Every dev has their quirks with these things but I think losing a bit of elegance with some extra lines instead of a single one it's worthy for the improvement on cleanliness and readibility. Specially when you have to go back to the code months after writing it for some maintenance or refactoring, I have cursed myself (and others) several times when I found myself in that situation .

Hmm... possibly. I haven't even been on the Discord so I don't know what Eva was told about Jasmine but Jasmine behaves more like a figment of conservative fever dreams than something out of porn.
