So what do you guys think the endgame of this MMA tournament is gonna be? Like, do you think Ian will drop his writing career and go full MMA if he wins? And who do you think he might actually fight? Jeremy’s in a totally different weight class, so he’s out. Honestly, the only matchup that makes sense for Ian is Mike.
The first guy was also, skirting Ian's weight class. Wen and Jeremy make a point of stating he must have slimmed down a lot for weigh-in because he didn't look like he should have been in Ian's class. Now, it could be Eva's way of hand waving the obvious size difference between the two. But it could just be a guy trying to get an unfair advantage in a fight, which isn't really a stretch either, as that happens a lot in regular MMA / UFC fights.

Mike seems an assured fight, considering he was added to the tournament in a later update. Seems like you wouldn't really go through the trouble of adding him without making him have some sort of confrontation with Ian or Jeremy. A lot of posters on this thread clamor for an Ian / Axel fight and while it might be cathartic for some, I just don't really see it happening outside of a scenario like Lena cheating on Ian with Axel and Ian having a high chad variable as well.

Other than that, I doubt Ian is making any sort of career out of MMA. I think he'll just get a big prize money that can go towards his new home, as him desiring to move out is canonical. But really the MMA fights are there as a way to give Ian an excuse to train his athletics stat and another way of raising his chad variable. I would like for him to be able to impress one of his love interests, Cindy, Emma, Allison, or bad Jess seem mostly likely, in some sort of self defense situation. I've mentioned it several times before, but I think that the Ian / Robert fight at the museum was a missed opportunity to not only establish Ian as toxic alpha male type, but have Lena lean into that sort of toxic masculinity too. Alas, Lena is canonically against violence, even if Robert's stupid face deserve a good punch every now and again.

Tbh cutting weight is there for two main reasons: grappling advantage (first guy was a grappler iirc) and avoiding guys like Jeremy: tall lanky strikers with monkey ass reach. Ian or Jeremy fighting is unlikely anyway and wouldn't have much stakes tbh.

IIRC Ian/Axel confrontation outside the club (yknow, when Axel pushes Ian) happens no matter what if Ian is there so I do see a path for it happening in most cases, even without any cheating. Chad Ian is as confrontational as Axel. :BootyTime: Only scenario where I don't see it happening is if Ian and Lena aren't even friends (no texting, nothing) and Ian/Axel have good relationship.

Real. I wish the Lena who punched the whale at the club would condone a lil bit of super necessary violence. One can dream. :BootyTime:

He was a striker and only resorted to grappling in the second half as a desperation attempt to beat Ian if Ian was winning. It's been awhile since I've played the fight with any sort of variety to it, so I might have the conditions wrong, but I think he only tries grappling if Ian is completely dominating the striking game. He'll stick to striking if Ian is attempting to win via submission.

You know you're right. Bitch gets all upset when big meaty men start slapping their meats, but will punch a poor defenseless whale. Lena punching the landwhale really makes the Robert / Ian fight a missed opportunity AND breaks character for her.

I see Ian doing both MMA and writing. If he gets successful after retiring he could be a coach. As for the final tournament, I think he might get challenged by Axel. They hate each other and Axel won't stop until he sends Ian to the hospital.

That fight would be legendary street fight or not. I just hope Lena gets a front row seat.
And the sex afterward? :BootyTime: Absolute fire.

Eh. Wen says he "favors striking over grappling but he's no pushover".

No, it's a amateur MMA tournament. Ian entered to test himself and his progress.:BootyTime:
Or maybe with Stan's new workout regime, he might shake up the MMA community and win the tourney, which ofc will make Ivy fall head over heels for him. :D

The fight with Axel will be outside of the tournament; it's obvious that he doesn't practice or have any interest in MMA. :BootyTime:

Yo i got really bumped out that Jeremy didnt decide to fuck with Lena when i started to flirt with him in the newest 14th chapter. (i am currently on the cucking Ian route).

He said that its for the bro code and i got a relationship minus with jeremy because of it but why cant i just tell him that Ian is actually a Cuck? Is there any other condition i need to for Jeremy to agree?
You need Ian to become angry at Jeremy for talking about Lena's cheating and he can't forgive Jeremy afterwards. That way their friendship will be ruined and Jeremy will no longer care about Ian.

Ian can't become angry with Jeremy while having a good relationship with him. So don't use choices that make that go up.
