Normally i would agree, but in these games --given their mostly binary logic-- it is not out of question for the game to make a presumption that if your MC hasn't slept or at least strongly flirted with a person in any of the 12+ chapters so far, then they are not, in fact, attracted to that person. Because otherwise they'd have made some move on them already.

"At least strongly flirted", precisely, and this is where you are objectively wrong: before this update, even if Lena had fantasized about Jeremy, and even if Lena had strongly flirted with Mike, they were still not an option. Lena needed to have slept with Mike and at least sucked Jeremy AND kept flirting with him afterwards for them to be candidates. So no, sorry, it did not make any sense.

You can use URM, it is fairly easy to learn. You need to search for variables then "remember" those variables and you can track them by opening URM while playing or track them on screen with a little extra work.

Hint - search for Lena_ and Ian_ to find many of the relevant variables.

Also Universal Choice Descriptor will give you relevant variables/flags that each choice references, this actually might be more what you are looking for, you can use both together.

That's not true. The game checks ian_lena_couple in ch14, not ian_lena_love. And he is only willing to fuck Lena in that case, if v12_jeremy_crisis and v12_jeremy_crisis != "solved". Check the code.
Otherwise if ian_lena_mmf_guy = "jeremy", she can only grind on his cock between her legs.

I have a feeling Jeremy might be the one exception. The variable used for most characters is Lena_'character'_dating, and this is usually set to true after a hookup of some sort. It is a little inconsistent, Seymour sets to true if you agree to work with him, even if you quit before anything sexual happens, Axel sets to true without sex, just enough interaction. Jeremy won't get this set to true unless Lena wakes him and blows or fucks him. Ivy's bday party bj is a sore spot for Ian later, and depending on choices as Ian, Jeremy will refuse, be coerced by Lena or be fine with it, but the dating variable is still false. If Lena has the BBC fetish from watching Jeremy/Louise, fantasizing about it a number of times, fantasing about Jeremy enough, he will be a choice for the 3some without Dating True, but NOT on ALL paths.

I haven't verified this to be 100% true, just what I can dig out of my memory, which isn't always right.

The Shine conversation Ian has with Jeremy does set the bro-code up, the first effect is Ivy's bday afterparty where Jeremy will refuse or accept based on the choices Ian takes at Shine with Jeremy. You can get Lena with Jeremy at Billies party IF Ian/Lena are not a couple, though Jeremy still thinks it isn't a good idea, Lena cheating and Ian cuck AND relationship between Jeremy/Ian is bad (this is the most entertaining dialog for me). If Ian/Lena were always casual and Lena is a turbo slut, you can get lots of Jeremy content at Billies party if you want it.

There are some other options too, but most end in pretty mild stuff.

Yea, it's an evolving thing. I didn't say that was the only conversation that mattered, just the first time you can influence how Jeremy views the relationship between Ian/Lena.

The kind of messy thing about this, that bothers me a little, if you have an only casual relationship with Lena, Jeremy will still try to warn Ian off Lena before Ian leaves for the beach, like he has full insight into their relationship. It's a story thing, drama needed for the decisions made just before and at the beach about the Ian/Lena relationship, just feels a bit sloppy.

I agree that having Mike included only based on sex but not flirt variable is a bit odd. But at the same time, that was only an early discussion, and it seems that in this update the game is rectifying it, and does take into account whether Lena continued the early flirt in her interactions with Mike in this chapter:

This variable doesn't hinge on having sex before, just flirting is enough to enable the interaction which activates this flag. As you can see from the snippet, the same is applied to Jeremy (as well as Anthony) who can also become a candidate now.

Threesomes are different, because the partner is involved. This is extra motivation to only pull it of with people you are familiar with. With normal hook-ups, there is always a risk, but it would only affect you, not your partner, so its less of an issue.
