Can I freely choose route options to a point, or am being locked in just by picking them? I wanted my first proper playthrough to be an Ian/Lena route, but I just couldn't resist picking the Cherry options in the first meeting with her. Is this the type of game where I need to commit early on?

No, there's quite a bit of freedom in entering, dropping and sometimes re-entering character routes, as well as mixing some of them. It's one of this game's strong points.

Specifically for your case, Ian can get involved with Cherry early and then drop her for Lena, or ultimately choose Cherry over Lena if that's your preference.

Why Eva doesn't do any special game events or small DLC for christmas and halloween like other devs do?
It would be cool to see the characters in a holiday setting, even a few illustrations shared on patreon would be nice.

I was wondering too. Maybe she doesn't like that kind of content. I think she isn't the only dev who doesn't make Holidays dlcs.

Not every devs do this. An entire event is a crap idea, better spend that time on the actual game. A couple renders/images why not. But Eva's art is traced, and while it does its job in the game, it's not that good.

Honestly, i'm quite glad this is the case. The "seasonal DLCs" either end up very out of place in the game proper, since they rarely align with actual time in he game, and if they're detached from the main game as some sort of extra then it's basically a waste of time and scenes that'd otherwise be spent on developing the actual thing.

This was bratty as fuck. :BootyTime:
Well shit, what can I say...:ROFLMAO:

I'm a simple man, with simple tastes. Don't @ my lovely fantasy of watching Ian and Alison breed like wild animals. With your 'alpha-sharing/cuckold' shit. It's lovely and fine for those that wanna see that. But that's not how I get down chief, so keep it away from me and my praying for paths.

Having a winter version of some of the maps, clothing and Christmas related stuff would go hard though for vibes first of all, but some content also. If the game does end up getting to that time of the year obviously. You could have some nice cosy winter style dates, some gift giving that could maybe work like how the necklace gifts worked for Ian and his LIs (LIs get special gifts compared to regular otherwise). Cheeky little Christmas party/parties somewhere that can give us some more nice moments with an extended cast, or some drama depending on how your game is going etc etc.

BaDIK had some bits and bobs with it in its last release, and personally I loved it. Would not be opposed to seeing something like it here. (y)

Dunno. Fooxied released a few days ago big dlc for a reasonable price and update of the main game prior so it's exploded with positive comments. The final update? of the game is in the next year. Like I said, it depends if it's the Devs thing and it seems Eva is not a fan of those which is fine.

I wouldn't be surprised if those kinds of stunts are profitable. But far more important is developing and finishing the story, not exploiting the characters by putting them in arbitrary themed scenarios that have nothing to do with anything.

This... i'm afraid this doesn't make much sense. If there's winter/Xmas in the game, or Halloween, etc then you'll see related content included naturally as a part of it, without need for any "seasonal DLC". If the game doesn't cover this period then suddenly having Xmas and winter "maps" and clothes in what's the middle of summer in the game makes zero sense and just breaks the immersion...?

I guess i just don't understand what people talking about "seasonal DLC" actually envision as that supposed DLC. But it really doesn't seem as anything that'd add to the game, no matter the angle.

Sorry I probably wasn't clear in that I wouldn't want it to be 'DLC' really either. I was just saying that if the game does ever get to around December time. Having some winter related stuff with Christmas, parties, and just those general cosy winter vibes etc etc.

It would be quite dope. And I would be so down. I mean, I find the idea of 'DLC' in AVNs to be rather bizarre tbh. Unless it's like a season 1/2/3 based thing like BaDIK or Artemis for example. Otherwise I don't really see the point, and would rather they just focus on the actual game.
