You can't. Lena won't budge on this and won't do anything with Holly if either of them is with Ian. It can only lead to official poly relationship, if Ian agrees.

I don't think this was the case. Holly is this game's unicorn, she does not cheat and her puke is rainbows.

(there might've been a bug which could cause some routes wrongly cross, but this would be unintended and was fixed)

I'm just getting started and damn.... this freaking MC... 95% of what he thinking/say is complaining and whining. Poor me! My life sucks! My job sucks! Can you believe I actually have to work?! I have to do things I don't want to do! My boss has it in for me even though it's really my actions causing the issue! I'm still crying about a relationship that's been done for over a year! It's not fair! Why me?!

Does he improve or is this the best that it's gonna get? If he doesn't there's no real need for me to go forward as an "immersive reader" as I already don't like this guy and don't want to "be" him. Peace!

Yes, you start at the bottom and have to climb your way up, or you can hit rock bottom and turn the MC into his worst version. It's up to you which path you choose.

That's difficult. All the characters in AVN complain about something. The difference is that Ian does have the option to improve.
