I think you might be confused on the kiss option. The option to kiss Holly is just one of many options to build up that Lena Holly relationship counter. No matter what that kiss gets interrupted and a later kiss option as well.
The kiss I refer to in the guide happens automatically and is initiated by Holly. It also happens way later. So just keep on that path till you reach it.

I'm not sure what you meant by it doesn't work. Whether you meant you didn't like the outcome or you keep failing to open the relationship. If you meant the latter you have to not let Ivy tell Lena about your entanglement with Cindy if you have one. If you accuse Lena of cheating when she knows of Cindy, she accuses Ian of cheating too and Ian automatically breaks up with her. That was the part that messed up my open path playthrough.I tried that with the chad ian but it doesn't work and I always end up breaking up with lena.

He was a son, but not an heir. Robert wasn't married to his mother, so would have had to recognize and name Gendry before his death.
