EK should probably go back and expand the relationship talk when Ian and Lena decide on an 'open relationship' in the park. They never really define what that means, and it isn't the normal definition since Ian feels guilty about cheating. (the implication seems to be, even though it was never said, they might try threesomes. Is that accurate?)

Does anyone else get the issue when making a save that the phone shows up instead of the choices? Or just the image? Trying to figure out how to avoid it, it's annoying.
I shall henceforth call this the Quantum Ian path.Trinity is pretty boring. Just go for each and every girl who has a GF flag and make a separate save files for them.
Because we can only ever confirm the nature of his relationship status if we observe the save file.
When Ian and Lena talk in the park they only agree to "experiment together". It's not open relationship at that point, and "experimenting together" is clear enough that it doesn't involve fucking other people without your partner present. People simply read too much into the name of variable used to encode that state.
It is then potentially and explicitly redefined in Ch.12 as actual open relationship, if Ian either agrees to Lena's suggestion, or makes such request himself.

Not yet, but this dev has a history of finishing his games. "Good Girl Gone Bad" was the first of his me (and my wife) played and loved. It had multiple endings and was well done, but it was finished, so I fully expect this to be finished provided the dev's health improves. He's had a few issues lately, and I wish him all the best in that regard.

While I like this game for the most part, when examining the walkthrough (PDF version) and the variables required to achieve certain outcomes, it is INSANE! For example, I was interested in a Lena, Ian, Holly threesome, so I started to backtrack what I would need to do and not do, in order to achieve that and I was amazed at the stupid things you would have to avoid and do to achieve this. If Lena sleeps with Axel... forget it. If Ian sleeps with Minerva, forget it. And I'm still not sure how you get to this point as if you have any sort of relationship with Lena, Holly avoids you and Lena feels perpetually guilty about even kissing Holly, though she had ZERO problems fucking Ian's "friend" Jeremy multiple times but... don't kiss Holly. In the past I slept with Holly which caused problems with your relationship with Lena... so I am like... how in the flying fuck are you supposed to get to the point of a threesome between all of them?!
I may do some serious backtracking through the variables in the game to see what exactly you have to do, but this is REALLY messed up. How Minerva plays a part when NOBODY KNOWS IAN IS SLEEPING WITH HER is beyond my comprehension, or how ANYONE knows that Lena slept with Axel?! Yet in my current playthrough (which is basically, everyone's a whore, LOL) somehow, Jeremy knows that Lena slept with Axel even though niether Lena nor Axel told anyone, and I still don't see the logic on how that remotely effects a threesome with Ian, Lena and Holly, if anything it makes her more open to doing anyone and everyone.
In other areas...if Ian is a cuck (which I went for just to avoid the stupid jealousy garbage), he STILL gets jealous!!! I'm like, what the actual fuck?! I really dislike the cuck thing, at least the way this game does it, but I hate jealousy more.
I don't know... I am to a point where I may just finish my current playthrough and call it a day. Move on to games which make more sense. This is seriously convoluted and overly complicated. I MUCH prefer GGGB.

The game does seem to be leaning in that direction. Bit I am very annoyed that it still treats them as an exclusive couple even though, at least by my route, Lena rejects Ian as her boyfriend and they are basically just friends with benefits, yet the game STILL treats them as if they are a couple, especially in the Lena + Holly + Ian department and it drives me up the wall. If Ian is being cucked, he gets jealous. If he is not a cuck, he gets jealous. When presented with Holly's feelings to Lena, a threesome is rejected for various, convoluted reasons even though they are NOT a couple.
I think the dev messed up in this way. It is getting seriously annoying to try and follow all the convoluted reasoning in this game and where in the past I had many different paths I had saved, now, I just want to get through the update and move on to something else as this is getting WAY too frustrating to navigate, especially with P-P-Perry and his stupid dialog.
Jeremy only knows if Lena fucked Axel if she does it at the club where he works. His co-worker Marcel catches you there literally in middle of the act with Axel's cock up your Lena's snatch. Guess what, people gossip with co-workers.
As for the throuple, it's not just some sort of casual threesome. This path is for Lena and Ian who love each other (and both have feelings for Holly) and don't get distracted by hookups with other people. If either Ian or Lena sleeps around with other people or especially if they develop feelings for other people, like Lena can with Axel if you choose for her to sleep with him repeatedly, then they lack feelings/commitment for this "pure" throuple.
It's not exactly rocket science, when both protagonists repeatedly spell out their thoughts on the matter in their internal monologues.

Always indicating of porn rot when people complain about not getting characters in a relationship, when they have these characters sleep with other characters beforehand. Sure, in most porn games the MC can fuck everyone and rarely gets repercussions, its ignored or leads to harem, because as we all now, people in RL love to be shared.
EvaKiss games have a huge emphasis on repercussions, even a minor decision much earlier can be adressed.
You want Ian, Lena and Holly in a throuple? The easiest way to do so is have the three of them not sleep with anybody else. That it is possible to have them fuck some other people for some time, is a bonus if anything.
The throuple is fairly wholesome and on the romantic side, so its obvious that it is less likely to be formed if the three participants fuck around a lot. Ian and Lena are also very careful around Holly. Ian won't even commit to Holly if he is sleeping with someone else.
