Daddy is used for male doms most of the time. Just like Master or Sir, depends on the preference. It has nothing to do with age. It's just a relationship dynamic between the partners.
There's a variable for Ian and Axel relationship and another one for Axel knowing about Ian and Lena that have been pretty much unused so far. Isn't Axel knowing about Ian and Lena being a thing, when they are, what triggers Axel's creepy smirk at Wade's birthday, if Ian takes off after Wade, in which case Axel chases off after Cindy looking like that? I recall that being memed back in the day.

The RP between Axel/Ian feels pretty moot. Axel knows about Ian/Lena dating is the only variable that will matter in the cheating path. Didn't EK rework Axel and Ian's dialogues? I am pretty sure they were pretty friendly before.

Yeah now they're enemies regardless of relationship points. Having them being friends could have been an interesting dynamic. Their confrontation at Ivy's birthday party could have been more interesting if they were friends. Would Ian have been able to cool things off on friendlier terms without almost getting into a fight?

I prefer the current approach rather than them being friends tbh. They're not meant to be friends. Whichever approach the player chooses to take in relation to Ian and Lena's dynamic, Axel isn't meant to be redeemable and the player shouldn't force him to be because his very character was designed to be an abusive dickhead. And it makes the least sense if Ian and Lena are a couple because "why would you wanna be friends with your girlfriend's abuser?"

Of course they'd be enemies if Lena is with Ian. I'm mostly talking about a scenario where Lena and Ian are only friends. As it stands the story feels way too focused on assuming that they get together at some point and I'm just looking for something to break that.
Axel is an abusive pos as shown with Robert. I don't think Eva ever intended to show that he's physically abusive towards Lena(although that's my interpretation). Besides cheating(that Ian and Lena can both do so it diminished the effect) what irredeemable actions has Axel committed as a character? I've avoided his route but it seems that Eva has him going down a route of redemption already. I don't think any character(besides a certain recent cameo) is totally irredeemable especially looking at how Seymour's route seems to be progressing.
I just think the friendship route would be interesting and make the game not feel so forced on the Lena/Ian pairing. This could have opened interesting scenarios involving Lena, Cindy and Cherry. I'm here for the drama and the two being friends seems like such a missed opportunity.
Yeah, i know, it's just personal thing. If they're not a decade older at the least, the best they can hope for is maybe oniichan.
