I don't know where from that "You are mine", "I'm yours" crap originated, but it's everywhere now, can't stop cringing while reading it.
It's older than print. The whole chivalric romance genre is basically prototypical simping, with the dudes declaring their allegiance to ladies and going on literal quests to prove their dedication.

They’re the wedding vows in Game of Thrones, at least that’s where I recall seeing it.

I was mostly talking about it in the context of sex scenes, I've read lot of Romance/Erotica in the past, and it wasn't so prevalent like it is now, maybe I'm just tired of it.

I think it might be more just what you've been reading, or it didn't register so much for you before. The whole "yes yes cum in me, make me yours" is pretty much a porn staple since i can remember. Probably even more common in the BDSM circles and the folks who are into slave play, given the focus on power dynamics there.

There's different versions of dirty talk like: who do you belong to?, who owns this pussy?, who is cumming on my cock?, etc.

They have been around for centuries, with variations found in poetry, literature, religious texts, and romantic correspondence across many cultures and languages. Popularised in Victorian era (19th century): Romantic literature. Then you have wedding vows and love letters.

I think it's a beautiful way to express your love and desire for the special someone. Thing is, with so much content at our fingertips these words starts losing it's meaning when we are constantly bombarded by it.

This. This is why words of love bombing Is overused and losing it's meaning. I prefer that couple who love each other express their love instead of saying it all the time. The most cringe moment is do you love me, I do and if you love me, you will do whatever the person wants. A guy can say I love you and lie but proving is

Ugh, too much degrading and humiliating dirty talk is a turn off. Slut/whore is overused and Devs only know that word.
If I'm just fucking a stranger or something, I don't mind the dirty talk, but if I'm making love to my girlfriend, I am not into degrading her (unless it's consensual roleplay, but that's different).
