You are playing as both MC's. You are not forced to partake in any sexual content. You are free to pursue whatever romantic and/or sexual options are available to each MC, including each other.
There is a risk/reward factor if you play as too much of a whore or is indecisive at any point with the mains, but you should be able to tell which choices lead to those routes.

Well since you've obviously never played the routes where Lena, Ian and Holly are promiscuous, by your own admission. Well it's not surprising you'd never seen it. Unlike you, I've played both, so I reckon I have a better understanding than you.

I never said, that in all cases, other characters are more promiscious than Ivy, only that they are in some parts of the game. And by definition, that means you can say that they're more promiscuous in THE GAME, if not in every part of THE GAME (which I never specifically said, you just incorrectly interpreted it that way). So I'm not changing anything. You just assumed I was saying something, that I never did.

Everything you claim about Ivy, is circumstantial. There is no actual evidence within the game, that she's fucking anybody, apart from the ones we see and one we dont, in the case of Mike. Yes, she fucks around no doubt, but how frequently that occurs is unknown, because no actual indication is given. With Ian and Lena, and now Holly, we know exactly how many people they are sleeping with, on some routes. Because we actually see it, or at least we see videos or photos on the phone in Holly's case.

And for all those people suggesting that Ivy has had sex with loads of people outside the game, and this proves she's a slut. Well I never said she wasn't. Only that Ian and Lena, and maybe now Holly, are much more promiscuous within the actual game. You can see. the obvious difference, between 'within' the game and 'outside' it, I assume? Whatever is insinuated, does not make it so, 'within' the actual gameplay of this game. And within the actual gameplay of this game, Ivy is not the most promiscuous. That is most certainly Lena, with Ian following hard on her heels. And yes, that isn't the case on every route, but it is on some. And since they occur within the game, it's perfectly true to say that Ian and Lena are more promiscuous than Ivy, in this game. And if you interpret that to mean something completely different, well that's all down to you.

But there is no real evidence, beyond assumptions that people are making. Other the years, maybe Ivy has had a lot more sex, than everybody else in this game put together, but there's no evidence beyond conjecture. Whereas, we do have clear evidence that Lena has had sex with over 12 different people on a single route, and Ian has done the same with 8. Now you can't say that with Ivy. So within the context of this game, Ian and Lena are obviously more promiscuous than Ivy. And everything else that people are claiming to say I'm wrong about that, is just irrelevant fluff.

Now if Eva starts introducing what you suggest, then of course it will be different. But as things stand, that's not the case. And I'm not concerned in this instance about 'what ifs', only 'what is'.

What do you mean? There's like 3-4 different ways for Lena/Ian to break up, at different stages of their relationship.

* Lena getting mad at Ian because he fights with Robert against her wishes
* Ian not liking Lena doing Stalkfap and confronting her like an incel due to lack of wits
* Ian finding out Lena has cheated on him and calling it quits
* Lena/Ian keeping it casual and eventually dissolving the arrangement due to never developing deeper interest

or do you mean their break ups with Axel and Gillian over their respective cheating? That's fairly standard yes, but it also provides them with something they have in common and can initially bond over. Also, i think the game goes quite beyond just a cliche with a number of possible variants (and player's freedom) how those initial breakups affect other relationships, as well as the ones the protagonists have with their exes. Lena/Axel can go like 4 different ways, e.g. -- blocking Axel entirely, falling under his spell and never getting out, fighting his pull early but eventually losing that fight, or falling early but then finding resolve to put end to it. And the game is quite far from done, yet.
