You went from "I don't like bland romance" to "I don't like other options outside romance" to "actually I dont like the premise of the story as well".

Lena's and Ian's pairing can be very dynamic depending on how you play them. Me personally I prefer them in a loving relationship with swinging allowed where Lena functions as a recruiter for girls for her and Ian to fuck. I also have a variation o this with slutty Lena and slutty Ian where they fuck everyone they can but in the end get together late in a relationship after gradually falling for each other. In this one Lena has the devil's threesome kink so hopefully Ian can return the favor to Lena by recruiting men for threesomes with him and Lena. Then I have one where Ian and Lena are just FWBs. Another one I've grown to like is the open relationship path but since it's still young, I'd like to see where it goes from here though Ian punishing Lena for cheating was hot AF. You could even have Ian be a cuck and Lena dominate him while refusing to have sex with him while fucking everything else that moves lol. Due to some of my discussions with Geigi and ffive, this inspired a playthrough where I play Lena as an absolute bitch. She steals from Ed and Molly, bullies Stan and hates her mom's and Cindy's gut. She also kicks dogs! As well as cheat on Ian with Axel and Seymour. This was my attempt at playing her as a bratty bottom. But alas I don't think the concept exists in-game especially on Axel's path. In this playthrough Ian isn't a saint either as he is an unrepentant serial cheater and dreams of becoming Seymour's right hand man. So Julius Kingsley I'm not sure what you wanted from this game but there are different ways to flavour your playthroughs. I just thought I'd share some of mine in case it'd give you some Ideas. Also chapter 8 is not really a good point to assess Ian and Lena's relationship as there are a few curve balls yet to come your way. But if you're bored that's fine too. You could play something else then when you feel reinvigorated you could come back.

What are the conditions that abort the trinity? Was protecting Holly, Ian kissed her and did not go further, etc, I got this last time with old saves, but not anymore. It seems there's a last kiss scene with Holly and Lena that is not being triggered, yet I kept her from Ivy and etc. lena_go_holly is 5 and the lena_cheating is false.

Sorry, it was that Holly Guy something variable. The value had to be 0, meaning, Lena had to cockblock Holly.

Eva really sent me back to old chapters to fix it, and I still got an exception when Holly tells Ian she kissed Lena
