You aren't forced to do anything? Lena will have to have a few limited interactions with him (The gallery, an offer for the photoshoot), but you can refuse the photo shoots, and you can refuse the contract. He will keep trying, because it appears he is obsessed with Lena.

For me, I was really shocked that there was no Lena POV during beach. I was under the impression she would at least have some conversations with Wade or we would see her riding Holly's face, maybe even teasing Perry somehow.

I don't think a loyal/vanilla Lena will have NO content this update. Reminder that during Ivy's birthday party all it took was some drugs for even a loyal non slutty Lena to lose all her inhibitions and start slurping on Mike/Mark's cock in a bathroom stall. A similar situation will probably play out in the upcoming update.

- Ian/Ivy, naturally. I get that its a slow burn, Ivy is allegedly the hardest to get and most sexy women of all love interests (not really in practice, she has no qualms fucking mid guys like Mark and Lena, Cindy and Jessica aren't less hot), so Ian has to work for it, but ten chapters for just mild flirting and then still slow development for the next three chapters. It's just slow build-up and I'm not even expecting much payoff. How amazing can Ivy possibly be if Ian could already score Lena, Cindy and Jessica? Really just another notch.

- Linked to Ian/Ivy is Ian not being able to be controlled during Ivys birthday and that event not giving much variety for Lena and Ian. Lena can blow three dudes and can have a dispassionate fuck with Ivy. That's it. Lena can't end the night with someone else, Ian can't hook up with everyone sans Lena on the birthday. Could've been a good opportunity to have him hook up with Ivy.

- No further Holly/Marcel content, even though it was heavily teased and fits the Holly corruption, the BBC demand, and even the demand for wholesome big guy small girl dating.

- Cherry starting to vanish and not getting any more scenes with Lena and Axel. I assumed Ivys birthday restarted Cherrys crisis and Ian/the player can interfere on whether she goes back to Axel or Ian/Perry has to fight for her, similar to Cindy. Also no scenes with Lena, even though they can deal with their rivalry, either doubling down or starting to make up.

I expected that Seymour/Agnes/Billy would have a lot more involvement in Lena's path at this stage, with a full-blown corruption/escort/porn path. With Ian, I expected more content with Ivy, Nat, and Gillian, and more consequences for past shitty choices. For example, I think Ian should've suffered some consequences already for slamming Milo's head into the pavement, but nothing came out of it, except to show how alpha Ian could be.

At this point I expected we would find out who the guy that cucked Ian and stole Gillian was. It’s one of those mysteries that nobody really cares about anymore now. I guess now that she’s trying to worm her way back into his life we’ll find out soon but it won’t have much impact imo.

Chapter 14.1 Status Report (10)

These days I’m still rushing to get as much of the chapter done as I can before September. I’ve been testing the script, finishing up art assets, and writing the final beats all at once, so I barely have time for anything else, including going into detail with status reports.
The hardest part has been weaving together all the possible permutations and branching scenes, since these kinds of events, spanning several consecutive in-game days with a wide cast of characters, are especially complex, compared to isolated scenes with just two or three people. On top of that, I want to take full advantage of everything this narrative arc has to offer, and make sure each scene is packed with as much artwork as possible so it doesn’t feel sparse or flat.

That’s all I’ve got for this report, so I’ll leave you with a little sneak peek and get back to work: it never stops! The release is getting closer, and I can’t wait. I’ll do my best to make it as complete, polished, and satisfying as possible!

Applies for any game in Renpy, to fast-forward press Tab or click Skip in your quick menu. Depending of what you have selected on Settings it will stop if you see new dialogue or when a choice prompt appears

If Ian doesn't date Lena, then Jeremy naturally doesn't tell him that she sleeps around, so the conversation can't turn into an argument. Ian can be disinterested in Jeremy, but to start a fight, they had to hook up with Lena.

Is there any chance of seeing Ashley from the first game in this game?

We don't know as of yet. Her fate may depend on how Lena behaves in each playthrough, respectively. Ashley may be the girlfriend of Good Jess if Lena doesn't work for Seymour (else Good Jess has Dave as a boyfriend), or Ashley may potentially be Arthur's lover if Lena works for Seymour, since Lena meets him and he is rich.

Ashley and Gillian look very similar, though. That might be why Ashley might not show up.

Another thing I'm curious about is what fate you chose for Ashley in the first game. I had a relationship with the blonde boy and made her a famous model, and I really liked that ending ^^

You can get a cameo of her quite early if you decide to fap instead of working on your book, also Jess says they are in a relationship if you pick the right decisions but she *hasn't show in the game as a character yet
