but i can tell you that that kind of code evakiss writes is mindnumbingly complex and hard to keep track of.

The MrBuBu walkthrough pdf is +25mb, most are 2 or 3mb. It is a majorly complex set of variables and event tags to tie together, I think this is probably 80% of the work by this point for updates. It's very ambitious, and though there are a lot of things I personally would do differently in the story, I gotta respect the effort to control this tenticle monster.

What gives you the option to do drugs anyway, do you know? My Lena only did them once at Ivy's bday party, so I presume you have to take drugs more than once before ch. 14 to get the options to continue?
I never got the option to take any, but I don't know if it's blocked on the Holly romance.

you have to take drugs in chapter 7 to get the options. the variable "v14_lena_drug" has 4 states (False),(1),(2) and (3).
early in the update (in the prologue so to speak) ivy offers lena to take drugs, causing state (1). that is needed to get to state (2) later on, as otherwise you won't be able to. from (2) you automatically get to state (3), which has most likely the biggest impact on your playthrough (as it is also changing the anthony scene i mentioned earlier), but the other states also are affecting your scenes. you can however get to state (3) also by going from state (1) by a choice later in chapter 14, or just by just having done drugs in chapter 7 and ivy likes you more than 3 points, also by choice.

holly has absolutely nothing to do with it, meaning neither "not dating", "in a relationship with lena", "slut holly" nor "throuple holly" has any effect on your lena's drug consumption.

Wow, now that you describe it like that again, I can only agree and am glad that in my playthrough Lena didn't allow Holly to be influenced by Ivy and that Lena and Holly are together^^ and I hope that Lena gives Ivy a kick in the ass

I agree that Ivy is tempting fate for a big counterpush. Still, I am very interested in the slut Holly/Ian love path, how it can develop, especially in comparison to the encouraged Holly path. If there might be some convergences and how slut Holly will develop further as a person.
Holly writing her fantasy stories and adding EroLit stories can be a move to make her a lot more popular. Also I think there will be several options with wild Holly on the sex side of things. Having finally gotten Ian might lead to her keeping it as it currently is, no reason to go outside anymore. She has gotten the one she wanted.
I estimate there could be a path with some small experimentation like exhibitionism, if Ian likes the naughty part of "wild" Holly too. and an option for threesomes and stuff if Ian really get off on Holly´s new slutiness.

I guess I play the game with Ian cockblocking Jeremy more than the opposite. With the Alison reveal, it does seem like Jeremy is a shitty friend.

Alison reveal? So far Alison always(!) chooses Ian, if he shows at least some interest. Others becoming irrelevant for her. And I also have good relations with Jeremy, nothing done on his side that could endanger their friendship.

I did his massage and made the willpower point choice to see what would happen but Lena automatically stopped things after a few extra scenes because of the Holly relationship before actually having sex, but if she'd have been high enough perhaps she'd have continued then?

Guess it'll be used more at this party when we get to that point. It's going to be interesting to see how differently it can play out depending on your choices in this category.

It's funny because I actually did like some of the interactions with him and with Sonia too, I actually found her a fun addition as a reaction character, but for some reason though I wasn't really into him sexually.

And I even tend to like the "lumberjack" body-type for men too. I think I've perhaps been decensitized in Our Red String with all the toxic male characters that I almost find Anthony a bit too smooth and pleasant perhaps?

I am curious to see what kind of content he'll have going forward, I can role-play Lena as being into him even if I'm not.

I tend to have a very superficial attraction to men, so I quite like broad and bulky types that aren't too roidy. A laborer is way hotter than a bodybuilder imo. So Anthony should be right up my alley. I guess I just feel kinda sus for all blokes that pop up in this game initially!

there are in fact 313 instances of the variable "v14_lena_drug" for this update, whereas 6 of these are variable changes.
sure, a HUGE part of those are scene variations of scene variations, but yeah, lots of scenes are affected by it.

Imo everything since the club update (where Lena does drugs for the first time) feels off. The general IQ of the entire cast has fallen - in the starting it was supposed to be more "realistic" than GGGB but now Lena is the same as Ashley from the first game, and the game has now become too porn-y (atleast for the Lena path). Also since the club update it feels like EK is using the same 4 poses again and again for 80% of the images and just updating the dudes.

Most importantly, the branching makes all updates feel very small. I have saves for 2-3 routes but this update was like 15 minutes combined. I know there are probably 4-5 other routes that I am not playing which are also being updated, but as an individual these updates feel very small with respect to the time between them.

These are my 2 cents, I know nobody asked nor cares but just felt like typing it out.

The Ian side is just better. Much better love interests options, the book writing/reviewing and MMA are more engaging self-development "quests" than music lyrics and modeling poses (for me anyway), actual core friend group to bounce off of (other side has Louise, Ivy and Stan fucking lmao), you get to feel like you "earn" your sex scenes whereas Lena gets them on command (which is logical, but still less engaging in the context of a game).

Though to be fair, the Ian side doesn't have to accomodate the demand for a corruption route the way Lena does. But I agree with you since I don't care too much for the dark tone of GGGB.
