The only avenue is if you start with him as dick, but the consequences of his actions snowball on him and self realization and regret leads to redemption and improvement, trying a long term and stable relationship. Finding out why he is the way he is and how to change himself. Mostly an expansion of Jacks arc in GGGB.

Frankly, Ian is serviceable enough to fulfill any wish. Zero to hero? Overcoming hie depression? Working towards a healthy relationship or just becoming a chad? Or downspiraling the cuck path? No need for someone like Axel, who has less avenues.

Wade wakes up from his dreams of turning pro and shakes off the fat belly and Axel just... Stops being Axel while still looking like Axel.

But that aside... Axel is just an abusive jackass. Sure he can look good next to Jeremy whose sole purpose is being a walking penis or Wade whose designed to be a wanna pro-gamer weedman that gets dumped, but that's a hella low bar.

You've got a point, especially as we will never see how EK could have exploited Axel.

And yet...

I won't deny it, Axel kindda reminds me of myself in my prime, I have made the mistakes he has made, and I have lost a girl that looked pretty much like Lena under similar circumstances. I know that he really loves her, just in a very bad fashion, and I know he wished he was better and he just can't, I have fought against similar demons until my forties.

Ian is not bad. But honestly, I play Ian's POV in skipping mode, automatically. I play for Lena.

Idk where it happened but I'm pretty sure that path was supposed to be in game for Axel but got scrapped. I recall Lena meeting Axel at the café having fairly different convos than it does now

How do you approach the male POV when you play ORS and what would make you want having Axel over Ian (or any other potential male character for that matter) as your male MC?

This also makes me think of something else... Why ain't nobody tryna play as Alison, Emma or any other female character?

There's some cheap ass AI slop knockoff where you play as Cindy... So is the standard for great MCs just "look as conventionally hot as physically possible"?
