Now that I think about it I think that pairing could actually work. He has a decent paying job, he'd be totally devoted on her and he seems like the type of guy who she can take out to social events. Somehow he beats out Wade in every category that she complained about.

Wade knows how to handle himself in public spaces, he just doesn't really enjoy it and so doesn't want to attend. Stan is, in contrast, a shut-in embarrassment who has no idea how to handle such situations. I doubt Cindy would enjoy that experience any more she does with Wade, unless she's got a thing for getting publicly humiliated.
