I'm debating between adding voiceover from first chapter to last, or release new chapters with voiceovers and do previous ones when I have the timeI wonder if voice will be added to the later parts later on.
Second, please! Second option is smarter: new content is more prioritized by players.I'm debating between adding voiceover from first chapter to last, or release new chapters with voiceovers and do previous ones when I have the time
Definitely best to focus on producing new contentI'm debating between adding voiceover from first chapter to last, or release new chapters with voiceovers and do previous ones when I have the time
The style remains the sameDefinitely best to focus on producing new content
Speaking of it, your patreon mentioned that you're experimenting with other art styles for the game
Is this the case? if so, maybe you'd be willing to also show us what you had in mind?
Didn't realize backgrounds were such an issue with your setupThe style remains the same
The problem is that it is impossible to produce any half decent backgrounds with my current model, that's why most backgrounds in the game are mostly one colored simple shapes backgrounds. I'd like to add some variety so I was experimenting with different models, but ultimately settled on using two models- one for backgrounds and one for characters. That way the characters style remains the same, while backgrounds improve significantly. Sure, it will be a lot more work for me, but I think the result is worth it

I'm using model to generate background with characters, then use regional prompting to get the poses I want, then I controlnet the image to get poses, and use those poses to generate characters with another model, and then do a lot of small inpaints to integrate them seamlessly into the imageDidn't realize backgrounds were such an issue with your setup
May I ask what is your workflow? like, are you generating the background with one model, then inpainting the character with another model? are you generating 2 images and photoshoping them together?
I never really tried to work in such a way, so I'm curious how you do it
Yeah, that sounds rough..... rough enough that it sounds like a single image could take you an hour to make, if there are a lot of inpaint fixes to be madeI'm using model to generate background with characters, then use regional prompting to get the poses I want, then I controlnet the image to get poses, and use those poses to generate characters with another model, and then do a lot of small inpaints to integrate them seamlessly into the image
It doesn't help that I'm bad at it, so an hour is actually an optimistic estimate. That's partially a reason why updates take so long, I try to aim for monthly updates, but the images part takes me way too longYeah, that sounds rough..... rough enough that it sounds like a single image could take you an hour to make, if there are a lot of inpaint fixes to be made

Mostly I need to figure out prompting and proper tags. But I guess I just need to look at a bunch of other generated pictures and read a few tutorialsWhich part do you think you're bad at?
I can't say I'm personally all that great with these processes, but maybe I could give you some advice?
Hopefully there are others who know more that could help
Well, that's the trouble we all experience with AIMostly I need to figure out prompting and proper tags. But I guess I just need to look at a bunch of other generated pictures and read a few tutorials
I guess there is an argument to be made that simple backgrounds bring characters forward, but that also make them act in a void, and I'd like to liven up the backgrounds. Sure, some scenes definitely will not require that attention to details, but it nice to have the option to add themWait plain background is an issue? It sets the tone perfectly... I played it today and that background" flaw" never came to my mind. I say that background colors matching the vibe and tone of your game perfectly. "They are". The focus is right on the chars and background is what it supposed to be, background.my 2 cents
Thank you, I'll check it outWell, that's the trouble we all experience with AI
For prompts, I highly recommendYou must be registered to see the links, it's a good guide for basic prompts at the very least
Beyond that, I guess you're going to have to be more specific about what you're looking for
Unfortunately, looking at the prompts on Civit doesn't always help, because sometimes incorrect prompt somehow work, but you might not be able to replicate the same
