For everyone encountering the error when trying to enter Yanki's room.
The issue is a simple typo where there's an 'if' after an 'elif':
The fix is simply to remove the 'if' like this:
I've attached a fix. Just unzip it into the main folder and when you run the game again, you should be able to enter Yanki's room.
Please note that I am not the developer. I encountered the issue like you, realized it was a simple fix, and thought I'd share. I'm sure the developer will fix this asap properly on their end, but for now, enjoy.

First time I've ever gotten an error in this game. Just got new version (via Mega link), started new game, and every time I enter the brother's room an error pops up. The traceback is attached. Any advice on fixing the problem?

For anyone struggling with the Yanki room error, just click the ignore button at the bottom. You can enter his room and do the things you could before without issue.
The real problem is that you get a new scene with the mom, and then nothing else. The changelog lists a bunch of new scenes, but none of which seems to be acessible. Since this was basically a Yanki update, I'm assuming those 2 issues are related, and the progression is just bugged. This is not a save compatibility issue, I've replayed the whole game and the Yanki room was always bugged, and no new content.
On the other hand, it's strange that the walkthough doesn't show anything, the gallery has no new scene spots, and the in-game changelog hasn't been updated.
The dev does show up in the thread, so I guess all we can really do is wait for him to clarify what's going on and fix the bugs

Unable to trigger the very first step. In the walkthrough help section, for yanki it says assignment complete. Did I get locked out?

Not yet, as he is the one with the fewest scenes, but I will be working on you being able to have a proper relationship, with Dates in and around the Island.

i don’t get it in the walkthrough there are tons of new things showing up a bunch of nonsense like ‘talk to mom in the morning’ and stuff but I can’t do any of them rr maybe i did them i don’t even know but nothing shows up in the gallery at all
Hey, yes the issue is because of the mistake I made. For now please use the bugfix offered by Oinkkins. I will release a Bugfix probably tonight (My timezone), so that the issue is fixed and you can enjoy the new content as all content comes after unlocking that.
The Gallery is unfortunatley hanging behind as is missing content, from even earlier scenes. I am trying my best to keep uo the gallery but I add always to many scenes. It's kind of an issue that comes with content creeping, which I need to work on myself.
Did you finish up last update (fully till end of 0.80)? If yes, pls send your save and let me look. Cause I did and everything worked perfectly without any issue except yankin room error which already there is a fix for that.
I've got to the bit:

But when i speak to Yanki in the morning, the only options i get are "Play Video Games" or "Go Back".
I have tried talking to him during the morning, noon, and night across multiple days. Am I doing something wrong, the walkthrough on the computer doesnt tell me anything. Also Cprruption is at 130.
If you got the scene with with pearl when she leaves mother room and Yanki caches her and fuck, then you will need to go Pearl s room, not yanki. Scene triggers in Pearls room mom cums pearls room and lick yankis cum from her daughter
After that scene its nighttime, after sleeping and then leaving and returning to the room, I get the scene with Pearl and her mom. Then its noon. Ive talked to the brother from then, i.e noon time, night time, then morning and it still doesnt continue with the scene.
Ok it seems that the bug with entering the brothers room is whats causing it, i doadloaded the fix from above and now it works.

I dont understand? Why do you talk brother? If you got the scene where Yanki fucks pearl at the door both anal/vaginal, It triggers auto, You just need to go pearls room. I really do not know what you are doing wrong and If we are talking the same thing you dont need to go Yanki room or talk to him to complete this at all.
It wasnt automatically triggering when went to pearls room (due to it being night after the first scene) and it wasnt triggering when i went to the brothers room. Its fixed now, it was due to the bug of entering the brothers room. I downloaded the fix from above and the scene triggers.
