I had fun despite the narrative mind-fuck going on. Hopefully we learn the true name of the god the four are so obsessed with.
I agree. Ashley's character has always been an amusing one to me. We need some lighthearted ditzy fun after the emotional and mental torture our protag went through the last few chapters. Her and Diary actually play off each other decently well (but probably shouldn't be a mainstay going forward) and the two lost tourists schtick is entertaining.

i think that game is becoming worse and even strange\nonsense now...chapter 51 was a total letdown for me..a waste of time that added nothing and confused ppl even more...
Let me break this down.

becoming worse
Debatable.
even strange\nonsense
It has always been strange, and the nonsense was finally explained and took relevance in that same chapter.
a waste of time
Like you said, for you.
added nothing
So... CJ discovering that he is nothing more than a replacement toy made by the four. Having an existential crisis and losing his entire identity which is the catalyst for the next arc. Kieran realizing who she really is and accepting it. The death of kei. The lore bits that filled holes and added clues for the future. Cameron. Jacob. And the goddesses descending to take action. None of that was relevant according to you... ¿How do you read stories exactly?
and confused ppl even more
¿Have you played the rest of the game or did you just jumped to 51?

I agree that calling one of the things that makes this game unique (the complete plot twist of over 50 chapters) a waste of time is weird, to say the least.

What I would like to know more about is to which extent his traits were forced. Did he accept everything because he was created to be that way? (from his rape to everything else) Was his forgiveness also a trait that was engineered by the four? Or is it a trait from the original glorious one? (as suggested by Cro)

I hope there is eventually an in depth explanation towards what exactly is mc, what he has inherited from the one god, and what was forced upon him by the four. And, obviously, which traits he'll rebel against - I think that is the most important part.

If only we had another 50 chapters to find out these things,:unsure::unsure:
alas the game was immediatley abandoned after chapter 51 released.

So I dreamed chapter 52... I knew jamie finally having sex was too good to be true.

I could swear I also reported a bug that I found on chapter 52 about the audio when you rollback during a trailer sequence but those must be fabricated memories too.

My guess is that its bullshit that traits got forced upon him by the four, they maybe engineered him but if they did, they were following his (old glorys) plan/design. Jamie's Grandpa kinda had the right idea but missed the context. I suspect grandpa (Jamie or someone compareable) was in some way part of the design/needed for the solution even if unknowingly.

Additionally i think that CJ is not some kind of substitute (for jacob), it was the exact proccess needed to create him (again) imo and im pretty sure all of this was designed by his former self and not by the goddesses.

There is a little dialogue between Ashley and Diary about the goddesses who destroy where diary explains how they are part of nature and how things have to "fell apart for new things to be made" which fits CJ's creation too.

I think Jacob would have turned out like the "other CJ's" with Mika and so on and would have missed the essential parts to be able to wear all rings/connections and to connect with Jamie.

After all, this is all "old glory" on a mission to rescue the goddesses
