I've had a similar question a few pages back and didn't get an answer, I can tell you that yeah, I've had a similar reaction. Maybe you could let me know if it changes for the better in later chapters? (I didn't continue with the story after art style of other characters changed aswell - that was if I recall it was at the end of the Theresa arc).

There were definitely some changes, but I figured those had more to do with there being a timeskip right before the Theresa arc started.
You guys are talking about an art style change, but I'm not sure what you mean exactly. Are you talking about the stylized renders/transitions during certain scenes, or something more fundamental like character model changes?
Perhaps it a style change is the wrong term. It just looks like how the characters are shaded in (I am talking out my ass here) is different. Here is an example of chapter 28 vs 45.

Post-Chapter 10 & 11 Comments
(Yeah, sorry, took me a while to get back to this.)
Short-haired dream Jamie had a cool sword across her back. I wonder if she's any good with it.
Not to interrupt Jamie's guilt complex or anything, but I really feel like she's rewriting history a bit. She did not make CJ “run away”. She asked CJ a reasonable question about his feelings, and he decided to take a walk to sort it out and then consult sky daddy. If not for the unexpected psychedelic dream journey he would have wandered back to the dorm room in a bit. Also Jamie, pretending to be a boy doesn't really make it less embarrassing to crotch flash the readers, though I of course am not complaining.
So I'm now 95% sure that that ball of light is Sarah. I mean, be really easy for someone living on the floor above to leave that note on CJ's door and later she implies she had seen CJ only minutes before he fell asleep. (More on that shortly.)
CJ seems to still be stalked by someone (Ghost Fox?) in the real world. I certainly saw that extra shadow, the glaring eyes (which might be Red Fox), and then later the angelic outline looks like the figure we see in the Dream Shrine. Though if the Dream Shrine figure is Ghost Fox, she's managed to calm down a hell of a lot.
The Teresa lap pillow was a nice chance for her to score some more screen time with CJ, but I'm sorry, of the five main girls Teresa still has by far the least personality. I'm sure she'll get more development eventually.
Meanwhile Ashley is fuming over not getting to be in the same class as the others and at the other girls stealing 'her senpai'. Her jealousy is disturbing and not in spirit with the 'all of us united' the other girls seem to have, and it almost makes me dislike her. Then the she gets an idiotic smug expression on her face worthy of Anya from Spy Family, and I cannot be mad at Ashley. The thing about Ashley is, she's an idiot just like CJ and in that way they're true soulmates. I love Ashley!
Speaking of soulmates, CJ can now see the rings (to Sarah's relief) and we get confirmation that Victoria, Leah, Teresa, and Jamie have them. No confirmation on Ashley though, because she is sad trombone girl and I love her for it. CJ is a little disturbed that Jamie has a ring since he's “not gay”.
...you know, since the story has gone to the trouble of interrupting Jamie when she tried to confess her gender, I'd actually like to see that play out to the end. Let's have CJ confess his love still thinking of Jamie as a guy and going, “I'm not gay dude... but for you, I guess...”. Hey, it was touching when Rudeus told that to “Fitz” in Mushoku Tensei, and it would be touching here.
Victoria and Leah have definitely chased off everyone else who tried to join the tea ceremony club so it could be their private domain, which makes inviting CJ all the sweeter. The whole tea ceremony scene was fun and sweet. Thumbs up.
Final comment, so in CJ's shrine dream I couldn't help but notice that... he was a girl. Girl-CJ. GJ. So, uh, what was up with that? The ball of light made no comment, and CJ himself (GJ herself?) didn't seem to notice, but it was apparent in the art. Interesting.
EDIT: I have been told that I made a mistake in interpreting the art, and CJ's hair was just longer than usual. Okay, but I think if you go back and look at the art you'll see how I made that mistake. CJ has always been portrayed with a very thin, concave lower torso topped by protruding upper chest. In this case it really looked like he was packing a pair of modest boobs under that shirt; I don't know what to tell you.

I knew there was going to be “an H-scene” in Chapter 12, since the blurred images in the gallery are helpfully given chapter numbers. But any expectations I had for a sweet CJ/Victoriafirst second time were sadly dashed. Jesus, that was uncomfortable! Yes, Red Fox (AKA “Fourth Voice) bared her titties for the camera and fucked a paralyzed Dream-J (that is CJ in the dream realm) while ranting like a yandere. But after all that talk about whether Victoria “raped” CJ for not getting explicit consent... well... we can't call this anything other than a rape, can we?
All I'm saying is, later if I'm replaying scenes from the H-gallery for fap material, pretty sure Chapter 12 is never going to make the cut. I haven't seen a sex scene so uncomfortable since Future Diary. The sexiest thing in this chapter was Ashley's swimsuit or athletic suit or whatever it was she was wearing when she came on to CJ. (Though Keiko's fuck-me skirt and stockings were a pretty close second; that's one hot teacher.)
Speaking of Ashley, I never doubted her for a minute, though it was kind of Sarah to exonerate her as never having left swim practice. (I definitely knew she hadn't done anything of her own free will, since she doesn't know which desk belongs to CJ!) As usual, no one bothered to so much as text Ashley and let her know what was going on. Poor Ashley, her friends forget she exists half the time. No wonder she has a bit of a complex.

So if I can make sense of Red Fox's ramblings, she was created by the previous incarnation of CJ (pre-J) to be his... I don't know, let's say “maid” because it's funny. Anyway, she was devoted to him but sacrificed herself to let pre-J and “the others” move on out of trouble. Only now she's pissed they all forget her sacrifice, regrets making it, and wants to make the others eat their own eyes for taking CJ from her. Yikes!
Oh, and she can see and hear everything CJ sees and hears. Pre-J, why did you think that was a good idea?
PRE-J: When I thought she was going to be a slavishly loyal maid, a mere extension of myself, it seemed like a great idea!
So who is Red Fox possessing? What a mystery, it could be- It's Kieran. Come on, we know it's Kieran. She's the one whose personality suddenly changed one day, and who talks exactly like Red Fox. It's Kieran. Hopefully she can be freed and not suffer too much damage from years of being possessed.

Red Kieran's threat to snitch on the three girls for “being where they aren't supposed to be” is very weak sauce. It's the nurse's office! Just say Teresa felt sick and they wanted to ask for medical help or something.
We switch to CJ, who doesn't seem too traumatized by his dream experience, though he's certainly stressed. No CJ, I don't care if the red spirit is hot, don't stick it in the crazy you are surrounded by much saner hot girls and also Ashley.
So the wounded girl in the hall is obviously the human Kieran, temporarily freed from her possession. It looks like the Red Spirit prefers to use supernatural power to change her hair color rather than hair dye it as everyone no doubt assumes. Kieran seems to have inherited some part of Red Spirit's obsession with CJ... unless she's naturally obsessed with CJ and that's why Red Spirit took her over. Quick, check Kieran's hand for a ring! Maybe the reason everyone ignores Ashley is that she's not “really” part of the harem. (I did notice that Kieran is in several of the sample images on the first post of the thread, so I guess she's not going away anytime soon.)
In Chapter 14, we cut to femme-chad Jamie. “Oh me? Just running a corporate conglomerate part-time as a side gig from school. Hold on, one of my three hot and personally devoted to me servant girls needs to bring me the briefcase holding my laptop and the souls of those who opposed me.”
But seriously, maids are good culture. Even if Jamie wouldn't ordinarily let Mayu wear the costume... outside. Are the three of them going to be a sub-harem that Jamie uses as her back-up fuck squad?
When Jamie hooks back up with CJ at school, she continues to be the rational one who reassures him that she saw everything too, he's not crazy, there's definitely magic all up in this shit. As usual, the other girls run around and accomplish little while Jamie actually has CJ's back. Then they get the taunting texts and CJ runs off to “water”, which based on the locations we explored earlier I guess will be the river bank?
End with Sarah proving she's a magic person by getting voice acted dialogue, though annoyingly the chapter cuts off in mid-story. Seems like Sarah was 'created' (or at least 'incarnated') only shortly before meeting CJ for the first time, since she wasn't even sure how to walk yet. And that's it!
Chapter 15 is another porn chapter with a scene in the gallery, Fingers crossed it's not another Red Fox scene; sure she's hot but come on. When is it someone else's turn?
