Yeah chap 52 was more fun than the last 3 chapters were in my opinion. Chapter 51 being the end of an arc, means 52 is the start of a new. Off to a great start.

No the updates one full chapter, but when finishing the chapter the arc trailer should play. The arc is part 2 of the arc that started last arc.

Yeah, I got the video but when the game end screen popped up, I was confused because I seriously thought I missed something. This seemed shorter than usual.

I'd recommend playing the new chapter when it gets here
The past few updates have been really large due to chapters 49-50-51 being really important plot wise. This update had 711 renders + the trailer, which is close to the average (~800) for a standard arc chapter that's not a finale or a freeroam.
I dont want to be overly negative as i love the avn but from my perspective 711 renders is not enough coupled with the doubled price of the patreon subscription.
I will probably way more often wait for the public version from now other than to bigger and/or more important chapters

With story driven games is always quality of text over quantity of renders.
But I agree with you - 10$(+2$ patreon taxes) per month is to big price tag...

As far as I know everyone who was subscribed as a patreon at $5 is still grandfathered in at $5 until they cancel or change their tier.
From my perspective most of the games I enjoy that I'd consider of a similar quality average about a 1500 render update every ~10 months, so contributing $10 for an autist with a computer to not seek other employment and grind out a ~8000 render arc over a similar timeframe is worth it for me.

Anyway, it isnt meant as bitching, if he can earn more money like that - good for him. I will surely still sub for the odd update inbetween when the story is on a highpoint but not in general anymore.
But there are public updates anyway so its not like its a big deal for me, just mentioning that i dont like it lol
