I think this was probably my favorite free roam section so far. It's kinda like the Star Trek, idealized post-scarcity society, but dialed to 11.
I didn't get that vibe at all. It is describing the far future when all the stars have burnt out and the last civilization remaining around the last remaining star uses an advanced intelligence to preserve what the universe used to be like. It is remarkably bleak - i.e., despite all those technological advancements and societal progress, the universe still has a finite lifetime and Hebe exists across its fathomless entirety intervening for unknown purposes at various points in space and time. Meanwhile, Ashley just wants her creampies ...

Let me break this down.

Debatable.
It has always been strange, and the nonsense was finally explained and took relevance in that same chapter.
Like you said, for you.
So... CJ discovering that he is nothing more than a replacement toy made by the four. Having an existential crisis and losing his entire identity which is the catalyst for the next arc. Kieran realizing who she really is and accepting it. The death of kei. The lore bits that filled holes and added clues for the future. Cameron. Jacob. And the goddesses descending to take action. None of that was relevant according to you... ¿How do you read stories exactly?
¿Have you played the rest of the game or did you just jumped to 51?
that yoiu are saying happened a while ago (CJ discovering ..bla bla), the last one and a half update was filled with nonsense about seeing old renders of the characters...confuysing even more and not progressing that much.lucky you that you are so sharp to understand all this non sense....

i think dev should wrap thing up and go for the end without making updates that doesn't explain shit , but instead confuse ppl even more, using them as a filler...i'm in agreement with the guy that said game was much more interesting when JC and the girls where fighting the goddess, after JC discover his true nature story gone to shit.. and became uninteresting and dull

OOT has many narratives & paths running parallel,i'm sure some people can find it hard to keep track or understand all off them, also its common that not every question is answered in the same episode.

maybe if you be more specific with what has you confused ,others could give their perspective and made help you understand it better.
also because you started to dislike the MC story progression is no reason for the dev to" wrap thing up and go for the end " that would be the most "confusing" thing to do....

For the few of us on Linux:

For update 3.65.2 ch53, delete OoT_Data/SCRIPTS~/Vol4/Chapter_46_Open.txt.

Now, it's OoT_Data/SCRIPTS~/Vol4/Chapter_46_open.txt.
Windows is not case sensitive, but Linux is, so updating results in both files existing. They are the same file and cause a duplicate definition error.

EDIT: It's possible MacOS has the same issue.

I have a question about Auxo's dream, I probably misunderstood, but:

I probably just misunderstood or missed something anyway and this whole line of questioning is dumb

Does this game have no player input? I am like 2 hrs into this game and have gotten no options.
it is a purely kinetic novel (meaning it plays out like a movie/anime/manga and the reader just watches and reads).
there are also a couple sections with optional dialogues, but no real gameplay.

Except for the 2 sex scenes you can miss by making the wrong choices...

Well, this is just my take but I think you got it right with it being because the dream was created inside Auxo. CJ just created a reality where everyone was happy and nobody ever knew him, since in that same arc he keeps struggling with the thought that everyone's lives would have been better without him. Since Auxo is truth, the dream morphed to represent everyone's truths. Kieran wasn't included and instead was shown what she really was. Cro took Sarah's place, and now we know why. The true connection of the Hebe shards was revealed, and CJ, who wanted a mother, called to who is his/Jacob's true mother, who is still spiritually connected to him. He doesn't know what everyone experienced because he only created "a world where they didn't meet me," or at least that's what I think after what he said in 51. And because that's all he did, he only knows what he experienced in it; he didn't put in the specific details of that dream, only that one condition + Auxo Truth's influence.

Oh.... this is by the same dev as Tropicali.

Any weird curveballs I should know about before getting into this? Because Tropicali had some of the best humour I've seen in VNs, but then the ending was a massive flop, at least imo.

How should I put this...

1) The game has very confusing and very acid trip-type moments that are extremely important to the plot. Believe it or not, even the stupidest of things (you would see one just in the prologue and know what I meant) are actually extremely plot relevant and not what they seem.

2) The story is NOT what some of the people who abandoned it after the first couple of hours seem to think; you wouldn't actually get to the true story until after chapter 15, like around 19 or so. This is by no means just a slice-of-life/romancing-girls game; this is more like a Lovecraft-meets-the-80s type of game.

3) The game has only a couple of sex scenes animated; unlike Tropicali, the dev wanted to focus on the story first and add the animations in later updates, and there is a battle system that is not yet implemented, but there is a test of it in the game.

4) This game is LONG.

5) There is a very high probability that there will be things that you don't understand, but that would become pretty clear on a replay.

6) This is almost entirely a kinetic novel.

If you don't have any problems with any of the things I just mentioned, then you should definitely give it a try.

Gotta love that we got some cool sci-fi worldbuilding and an insight into how Hebe functions, and Ashley is too fucking stupid to comprehend it.

Yeah I think that's probably the easiest explanation, Auxo's nature probably played a big part in it, thanks

This is the first pornographic game I have played for so long that I can directly uninstall it in the middle of it, which makes me confused about what to say. I feel dizzy when I switch my perspective back and forth. I'm really fed up.
