Just finished playing the current build (Ch 53). Until ~ Chapter 48-49 i thought this was the best thing ever. Amazing storytelling, lore, characters, just enough sex scenes in between, and more than enough humor.


But around those chapters some big reveals happened that i really hate. Kind of interested to see if other players share my opinion of these plot points. Tried to keep them vague enough to not have them be spoilers, but some mod still flagged them. So look below for what i am talking about:

Decided to pick up this game again after I tried it out 3 years ago (Didn't get very far) and I swear this game started very differently then what it does now. Was there a rework or am I remembering wrong and it always started out like this? (usually don't jump onto the forums of story driven games till I'm either desperate to know something and OK with it getting spoiled or near/at the end. In this case I swear the first 10 minutes was different then what I've played so far)

Yes, the whole "Crologue" is new. It now gives a bit of a hint of what the game is about and also showcases some of the VA work.

Definitely liked it better compared to what I had originally played, I remember not being a fan of the whole hiding the fact that the MC wasn't in the wrong for what happened with Victoria, hiding Jamie's secret (Although back then it was more I wanted no other male characters sharing the spotlight and some comments on here earlier looked like it was implied that the LIs would of been shared between them. Now I'm more disappointed cause no cute Femboy LI), felt a bit rushed and the whole Dad reveal turned me off the game cause it just felt stupidly silly for no reason. This new opening saw more then enough to hook me (Another thing that got me was when I saw it update the changing picture caught my eye as I scrolled away, made me go back to see if I saw right and I realized there was more then I first thought about the game)

Just hit chapter 6, liking it so far but feeling very spoiled by other games with chapters as it feels like they are flying by here, read there were over 50 chapters and was preparing myself for the long haul. I think I see where the plot is going but I'm still waiting to see if my hunches are correct or if I am guessing too soon. Hoping there's some more meat in later chapters and if there is any free roaming as I am not 100% if this game said it had or not. Waiting too see where the supernatural stuff goes.

Also digging the music, really like the choices of BGM.

The story doesn't really start until around chapter 19, and the chapters keep getting longer. Most chapters after 40 are longer than the first 15 chapters combined.

Trust me, this game is LONG, and it's currently only halfway done.

depends ,its already said that 90-100 will be done in one go as its the finale
being at 65 i'd say we're a bit past the halfway point story wise, but content wise you might be right, hard to really say.

I know that Patreon gets them earlier, but last I checked, the most recent chapter was 54 on Patreon, was it not? The version number does NOT correlate with the number of chapters in this particular game.

true , current public version is chp.53 ,i do see how talking about version 3.65.2 it might've misled somewhat, still i'd say that even considering 90-100 will get condensed into 1 long update that were at 53/100,which in turn is a little past halfway.

some future updates might have more then 1 chapter in them. and its possible a update contains less then a chapter aswell.
in the long run its irrelevant tbh, content is content

All the offense, hit chapter 12 now and still going going where I think the plot is. Not my first game with a premise like this (Though those ones the MC is the complete opposite to this one) so until I hit I think someone said Chapter 19ish there haven't been any sort of surprises or twists I didn't see coming. Gonna keep going cause I do like the game enough though Cj's homophobia is a bit annoying.

With all due respect. Chapter 12 might as well be the prologue. You haven't seen anything other than establishing some history between the characters.

Respect is earned not given. I figured it was since someone mentioned it and every chapter so far has had every main character introduce themselves as if I didn't see them 1 chapters ago. Just some of the hints and foreshadowing so far has given me an idea of where the story is going, but until I get to the latest chapter out I'll just keep going with what I know and until I've been proven otherwise I will stay with the knowledge that I can see where this story will end up.

It's a saying. It was meant as to not come off hostile, but still inform you that you are in the infancy of the story. Actual problems, and stuff don't really start until chapter 19-20. Who knows, it still might not be for you. I just finished the last update and to me, It's in my top 5 VNs, Adult or not. Different people like different things.

This is for real one of the most insane roller coaster VN's I've ever experienced. Each character is written in a very sincere way., that really makes you connect and relate to each of them. The Voice Acting elevate those emotional moments to new heights. I found myself tearing up over emotional story beats one moment, and a few minutes later laughing my ass off at the absurdity of some of the plot twists. I didn't know how long this game was when I first started it, but I have to say I cannot get enough. Now that I'm caught up to the latest update, I'm really intrigued as to where the story will go from here and where it will end. There's quite a lot of foreshadowing, but what exactly it leads to is still a mystery. I can already tell we'll be in for some more insane plot development and I'm here for every second of it. Story Anon is goated 11/10 would replay the entire thing again just to see what I missed earlier.

Oh I know, first sentence was just me being a shit, just a random bleh to what your first sentence was. I know you meant no offense, just the way I sometimes reply. I also know I'm still very early in the story, my comments and reactions so far are because I have been enjoying the game. The fact that I already see connections and parallels and have an idea of where the story is going means it's holding my interest and intrigued enough to make me care, if I didn't like the story or was not interested I would of never bothered to post or say anything and my brain would not already be trying to figure stuff out or I would of read and spoiled myself in the forums to see if anything pops up that would of captured my interest.

I am now on chapter 22 when we meet other Jaime in the bizzaro world and I am excited and happy to see my thoughts and theories have been so far mostly correct or close enough that I'm only mildly surprised. What has been a surprise though mixed bag so far is the one combat thing we did, took me three tries to get it right and not sure if there are anymore and if there are that they are a little better. Also while I did say the chapters felt like they were flying the story did feel like it slowed down before chapter 19 started so that was a bit of a meh it felt. While I am enjoying the game and it is holding my interest it I am taking small breaks every now and then when usually a game captures my interest it holds me till the end (Or if the game has a good amount of lewd material till I am satisfied and pause to comeback for more story build up till another climax).

So far I'm withholding judgement on where this VN sits but if I was to give it a ranking currently I would put it in lower top 10/15 of games I've played from here. When I reach the latest chapter that may change.

Yeah, I love this game, not really enjoying the Hebe arc either. Even if many of the things coming up were hinted at before, the arc just seems too passive/depressing compared to the other arcs which had more action in them (people sitting around depressed going "who am I really?" isn't as interesting as fights/exploration/etc). Hopefully things pick up again soon.

I guess it's used in a couple of reuniting scenes but that's where im currently at.
It's a beautiful piano and violin/cello piece that just sounds incredibly familiar.
