This marks half of the story, and I genuinely don't know where this game will go. I just hope it's not going to turn around to being an angst-fest, don't think I'll have a stomach to read it if so. The connected circle of characters is what drawn me into this, I understand if that's not what the author wants the story to continue to be, but still. Drowning myself in suffering and despair and existential crisis I can do perfectly well without any help.

Considering that Rebecca looks like Cro's true form and CJ looks like Jacob i thought something similar happened. They took something from Jacob (and cameron?) to "create" CJ's body so my interpretation was that Rebecca gave something to Sarah (which was necessary to create Sarah's body).

Rebecca seemed to share the same unconditional love and understanding with Cro and Sarah so maybe that was what she added to Sarah's creation (alongside with looks) and maybe was a vessel for these things.

Everything was planned since forever (including the death of jacob imo).

This game have no real choices. When a "Choice" appears is basically the game saying "¿Do you want to see an extra bonding scene with this character?" and I think that even if you say no the game just progress as if you had said yes, this I don't know since i never said no, there was no reason to. And even this said "Choices" disappear later in the game since this is a kinetic novel. The story doesn't really change from your choices, only change the amount of content you see with whatever character you decided to reject at a specific point.

If you like games for their story just give it a try, even the most ridiculous of things that are presented to you at the beginning of the game end up being relevant later, but if you don't like complicated world building then maybe it is not for you. This game makes you theorize a lot.
