The game runs fine on linux, therefore it should run just fine on a steamdeck.
Add the exe as a non steam game and it will run fine.

It's more noticeable some times than others but CJ's proportions are really weird. Hope that doesn't mess up h-scenes later, I just started a little while ago.

Yeah he has a female body in early chapters, but it'll be fixed around chapter 38 afair.
Does anyone have access to the older version of the game, before Patreon's censorship hit? Or just PNGs? I hate the idea of not being able to experience the game fully, as intended by the developer, due to patronizing(pun intended) third-party rules.

It has the a "animated" tag, but i haven't seen an animated scene yet. am i missing something?
There are animations, the tag is correct. Not that many of them though, especially given the length of the game, so they do feel sort of rare. If you only enjoy games with animated scenes this might not do it for you, but if you've enjoyed what you've played so far the animations will be a nice treat when they pop up.
As Muityek said, there are animations. Some lewd scenes are animated (I believe up to chapter 20 or something). I'm no longer actively monitor dev logs, but last thing I remeber was that dev is planning to replace all scene with animated ones, but developing new content takes priority
The rape scene with Victoria in the prologue got cut handsomely. Nothing NSFW, but originally, it was straightforward what actually happened. In the old version, it is obvious that they went all the way; it was painful for both of them (He says something like "You're hurting me."), etc.
It also gives some weight to the words of other girls later on, such as "he is too kind to blame you" because they are true.
