That fuckin' Hall & Oates shirt kills me. I'm in middle of this uber-dramatic scene ("you must fall into the pool") and it cuts away to a shot of him in that stupid shirt and it cracks me up. It's a mood kill, but a fantastic one, so it kinda works because I think this game is supposed to be all over the place.

The shirt is just perfect. Not only as the kind of cheesy-ass pop stuff the Japanese inexplicably dig, but it also means the cheesy title is actually even cheesier than it sounds. It's like cheese inception. You don't see 4th-wall leans done this subtly and this well very often.

All this *and* the harem girls are going to do hot lesbian stuff? This game has so much upside it's unreal.

So i have played up to chapter 12, and the story is very in-depth and well laid out. It is a little PG-13 and soft for an adult game though. Definitely the tamest game I have ever played for sure. Is that going to be a theme for the whole game?

It's a bit of a slow burn for sure, definitely a "plot with porn" type of game, but there are full on sex scenes. You should almost be to the first one, and after that they start picking up in frequency.

Glad you figured it out.

The intro fight will definitely be changing with the full combat update coming after Android, but my intention with this one was to give you all the tools to figure the puzzle out yourself without being severely punished (Since Aine's heal is pretty OP compared to how much damage Cro can actually do and how much the hostage takes per turn).

Great game..... definite instapledge situation. Solid writing, lovely graphics, fantastic characters. Pretty light on the sex but that seems to be improving-- a lot of hanky-panky wouldn't have made sense in our story thus far.

Some constructive criticism, Story Anon:

Switches in narration are hard to follow because they are not heralded-- I often find myself reading a long and then I realize this is a different narrator than the last scene, and I have to go back and reread a bunch of screens now that I know the context was all wrong. That's fairly annoying, especially if I had to save-and-quit during such a time since the rollback buffer gets flushed. It's also aggravated by the large cast and the fact that sometimes the narrator is someone we have just met, so expecting a player to instantly pick up on their "voice style" is a bit of an ask. It would be very helpful if changes in narrator were communicated in a clear and consistent manner.

Using a common device such as having the speaker declared nromally but the text is in a distinct font (or italicized) would be nice. (Incidentally, there are numerous places in the game where a character's inner monologue is presented in a way indistinguishable from their actual speech, which can also be confusing when it happens during a conversation. The game is psychedelic enough that we need these clues

All of that is totally fair. With so many characters there's bound to be some messiness at some point, thank you for bearing with it.

That doesn't sound like a mitigating factor for my tastes. I emphasis "for my tastes" - I'm not trying to tell anyone how to make their game. Folks' sense of humor - there's probably people who find the whole thing funny. I will, however, try the game out for myself, give it a fair shake. There are parts I like and it's a genre I like.

Whether I like it or not - more power to ya. Continue to make games if you enjoy doing that and make 'em how you want (not that you need my permission.)

Yeah give it a go but don't force yourself through it if you aren't enjoying it. There's plenty of games on f95 to have fun with, life's too short for novels you don't love.
