I love the trilogy, but the ending sucks. It ended too quickly, leaving too many questions unanswered. For me, it was very disappointing in the end.

If you read through the last couple of pages of the thread, you'd have noted that there will be some additional resolution with some epilogues. It ain't over.

Lock is currently working on one more chapter. This will be a DLC for Over the Moon. It will mainly focus on the character of Suzi and her relationship with Chester's family.

Progress Report | Over the Moon - 11/17/2025


I'm finally pushing through the writers block I had. Things are starting to come together. My main issue is that I want this to be a satisfying conclusion to the story, especially after all the negative comments about the last OtM release. So I'm in a bit of a panic mode over making sure this is well thought out and something you all will enjoy.

It also has to lead into Quean Bee which has been a bit of a challenge. This might end up being an incredibly long chapter. We'll have Suzi spend time with each girl, and then we'll have the conclusion that leads into QB. That's the plan.

Jett Moreau is the third girl in Of Maids and Madness. Now I have all the main girls complete. She'll be more playful, outgoing, and confident than the other girls. With a hint of sass. OMM is just something I'm toying around with in the background. I'm not going to seriously work on it for quite some time.

Suzi's Chapter is finally coming together thanks to some fortunate creative inspiration. I'm still aiming for a January release because December is always crazy at home.

Today's progress report entirely slipped my mind. I sincerely apologize.

Great news. We have two scenes left to complete for Suzi's chapter and they are both a little ways finished. They're both sexy scenes so they take longer to complete, but we're very close now.

Like I said before, it's the holiday season and things always slow down around this time. We're still aiming for a January release.

Suzi dresses up a little sexy for MC. You'll enjoy this scene for sure!

I've focused a little time on my novel to step back from OtM for a bit while the creative juices recover. This is a stressful chapter and I'm afraid of letting you guys down. But Warrick Nash is inching close to completion. I've got two major scenes left in the book, the ending, and then polish. I'll have it ready early next year.

Just finished this, I enjoyed the whole trilogy but the third game on its own felt rushed. I feel like it needed more, especially with Suzi & Moon. I will also say the new VARG irc felt underutilised.

Edit: Seems like it's not actually complete, and will need to return to this in the future.

Here it is, folks. The beginning of Suzi's story. Not only is this a beautiful start to the ending of The Rose Garden trilogy that I am extremely proud of, but it also introduces a new animation style. We'd love to hear the feedback from your experience with this, so please let us know what you think.

So the new update..... I like it overall and I like the story so I don't want to be too negative about the new content.

First, even though it is outside of the previous story, the update still borked your saves. I had to go back a few scenes in the main story to find a save point that was playable - and even then, it reverted my name back to "Chester" (default MC name). The MC is also called "guardian" but not sure if the MC was previously called "dad" or I am just misremembering that part. There don't seem to be any i-patches, or at least not one on the OP. Anyway, TL;DR = your saves are messed up and you might have to start from scratch (even with the side content) if you want the MC's name to be anything different.

Also, to the best of my recollection, this is the first update for any of the dev's games that appears to use AI in the animations. They aren't bad and are honestly better than most I have seen up to this point but I have to say that it is not an improvement from what this dev was doing before, just... different. I am sure it is A LOT less work and may improve development time, etc. So just personal choice, I guess.

Side note: the AI sequences create some awkward and inauthentic moments. In the scene where the MC is having sex with Suzi for the first time, there is a part of the scene where the MC is fucking Suzi missionary style. Suzi is being propped up by Petal, who is very lightly participating, though mostly just watching VERY UP CLOSE. Anyway, the AI part has this moment where Petal leans down as if to spit in Suzi's mouth and Suzi opens up to welcome it (though no spit comes out). At the last second she purses her lips as if she is blowing a kiss instead rather than swallowing, which also makes the sequence feel just weird and not particularly sexy. Overall, the AI movments make the whole scene feel just slightly out of character for the women.

All of that is to say that while the AI scenes are decent for what they were and were fairly well executed, AI still adds elements of body movement and interactions that are inauthentic to the characters and the experiences they are having -- such as spit play for a woman who has never had sex before.

I would suggest you do. You don't necessarily need to play Avalon, but for this trilogy the order would be Petal then Bliss then Moon.
