I hate Retard In Lecher Town as a trope, but the art, minimal animation, and sound effects are nice enough to look past it for now.
Though i really don't understand why the ex-nun that stole a holy relic just gets to stand around continuing her day instead of being punished for such a crime, since you have the option to arrest the bandits at the start of the game. Weird.
EDIT: Good art can't excuse bad plot. Cannot go any further past the lecherous business man demanding 2 million gold, double what he paid for something he thought was just "a gem", for the Prophecy Stone, whereupon Lias very quickly caves from saying that it's stolen property, what he paid doesn't matter, to agreeing to get him twice as much money. Fuck no.
You backhand him, take the stone, tell him he's lucky to be suffering no greater punishment for trying to withhold a stolen holy relic and to take it up with the thief he bought the stolen property from if he wants his money, and return it to the church. God...
