Alright, my first game review here (and hope not the last one): the game isn't worth your time, believe me.
First of all, gallery animations WON'T unlock after you beat the game - you have to die to every single monster to get them. Secondly, the quality (or resolution for that matter) of the enemies' and character's sprites leaves much to be desired.
Thirdly, the movement is wanky, so are the animations for them - your character behaves weirdly on the slopes and "hits" her head if you try to jump while "hugging" the wall in front of you.
Fourthly, the hitboxes - oh boy, I sure do love to fall off the platform edges when there's still ground under my feet or fail the jump because of it. Or get hit by the spinning blades and lose all HP cuz your hitbox refuses to fall on the group or at least GET SOME INVINCIBILITY FRAMES. Speaking about enemies' hitboxes - no complaints, reachable from afar. But the enemies themselves...FUCK THOSE BATS.
Fifthly, the upgrade system - does it even do anything? The only four upgrades I used were ATK, DEF, crit chance and crit damage. Dmg and def multipliers don't have any effect on you, as far as I've seen. You can easily beat the game without upgrading the rest of the stuff. Speaking about difficulties - I beat the game on Normal one cuz I assume harder difficulties just make enemies deal more damage to you with the same EXP income. DAMAGE! You're gonna take a lot of it, unless you're a parcour-dodge-pro. Or just faceroll the enemies and spam-click them to death. Hell, I even made the first boss stuck in the wall, poor fish. The rest of the bosses are but punching bags. The repeat one attack if you're "inside" them, which deals no damage to you cuz it spawns in front of the boss, making you nearly invulnerable.
Ah right, special attacks are trash and not even worth mentioning.
That concludes my little review. Spare your time and go try better games than this quick and dirty pile of scrap.
