He said 6 updates ago = Chapter 3, part 2, but if he considers public releases as updates, well, yes, Takkatakka might be right.Yes, the latter part of his news made me suspect as much.

It will likely be the "Ian/Rosa/Edwin" Threesome if you had Ian taking care of Rosa's money problem.
I think most of the Sophia discourse is rose tinted because most of the guys here fell in love with her because she's a hot nerd and most nerdy guys get extremely desperate when it comes to nerdy girls that have the same interest as them.
Some people do like Sophia, but we also talk about how she's salad dressing around here. Point being, everyone is openly talking about what the game's shown us and Sophia is a current mystery in a sea of intrigue. So let's speculate but responsibly. Abel and Sophie's motivations aren't yet known.I just don't see her appeal. Sure, she's hot, but she really reminds me of Ian's mom, and not in a good way. Sure, her chemistry with Edwin is great, but I suspect she was ordered by Abel to feel Edwin out, possibly to see if he'd be open to join their cause once the endgame comes, whatever that is. She just gives me unsettling, femme fatale vibes. It's not a stretch to say that she's honey trapping Edwin, who'll possibly side with the "girl next door" over the openly monstrous Kat.
Abel and her most probably see Edwin as a chess piece they can maneuver to their advantage, and while they do raise good points about Edwin's safety, let's not pretend like Abel and Sophie care about what happens to Edwin as long as he's not in their way. To Sophie, Edwin's most likely a naive kid out of his depth that she can tease and have some fun with, there's no real feelings or a chance for equality there. She's many leagues above him. I just have a feeling that Edwin's just a small pawn on the huge chessboard that is Club Carnation, and spending too much time with either Kat or Sophie/Abel will just put him further into the clutches of the powers that be, and he has no idea about who all the players are.
While stupid, so was taking the job. And you are in a rabbit hole which is where you don't learn how deep you've gone until someone tells you. You're out of your depth, family and friends are possibly in danger, you're a flawed human being, and somehow you make it out of this with some sort of sanity.I also think it's extremely stupid of Edwin to dig into the possible murder of Darius, especially since his only job is to keep his head down and do what he's told. He's also partially protected by Chuck, for better or worse, and there's no reason to go down the rabbit's hole when you know what's waiting for you there. You already sold your soul for free tuition, it's a little late to play detective, especially since you can finish college and skip town. Edwin's just really out of his depth here, and he's not doing himself any favors by asking too many questions.
I honestly think that Edwin couldn't care less about Sophia, and he is aware of her intentions (as the profile says):

Dislikes: [...] getting cum in her hair.
Didn't Edwin ask her about August though?That... Actually sounds like a Cyberpunk 2020 Tabletop RPG Lifepath and I think that's a strong possibility of turning out. Makes a LOT of sense and makes the story that much more personal whether Vicky knows August or knows the guy that knows the guy for August...
I guess you forgot the scene where Edwin asks her mom if she ever heard of August's name. There were not any "reveals" at all.Man, I was hoping for a late December-ish release, but it seems like it's most likely early February. I'm really interested to see how the animated 3some will look, especially since this game's production quality has drastically increased since the first release.
I was thinking about August a lot today, as he seems the most straightforward and "upstanding" of the bosses. While Kat and Chuck seem to be in it for their own sick pleasure, and they appear to be the main players in the power struggle in the background, while August seems to only care about making money and maintaining his pimp lifestyle, while the sadistic games and psychological torture seem to be Kat's brainchild.
It's basically confirmed that the Club was basically a high end prostitution ring that August ran, until Kat came along and put her own spin onto it, formalizig it as a "club". If it comes down to choosing sides, August may be the best bet, as he only seems to care about his girls making him money, without the sadism and blackmail that Kat seems to revel in.
Also, if my suspicion that August was Vicky's producer and pimp turn out to be true, I'm interested to see the dynamic between Edwin/August/Hana change after the reveal, especially since Edwin's whole world view is warped by Vicky's career. The web may be even more tangled, as Vicky may have been pimped out to men like Chuck, and that why Vicky has a dislike of him that she refuses to elaborate on, despite supposedly only knowing him as Edwin's professor, especially if she was a victim of Chuck's darker "proclivities".
I guess it could be a red red herring [sic!] and in the end it turns out she knew that name after all or he used a different "stage" name or whatever.I guess you forgot the scene where Edwin asks her mom if she ever heard of August's name. There were not any "reveals" at all.
I'd really like to know why the most "imaginative" players here love to fantasise plots and make arbitrary assumptions about Victoria and Sophia. Why always Victoria and Sophia.
I think she was honest. It seems to me that she doesn't know him.I guess it could be a red red herring [sic!] and in the end it turns out she knew that name after all or he used a different "stage" name or whatever.
I would guess so as well, but who knows...well outside of TD I mean.I think she was honest. It seems to me that she doesn't know him.
I wonder why you are making these "assumptions": her dislike of Chuck is totally justifiable (I guess you forgot that even Ian's family isn't that fond of Chuck: do you think he sexually harassed them?).Idk man, I just think it'd be pretty lame if it turned out to be a red herring after so much teasing, especially since her dislike of Chuck at the beginning of the game is very weird and unfounded, given his "friendly uncle" public persona and her friendship with Ian, which means she most likely met him under different circumstances during her porno years, perhaps maybe falling victim to Chuck's perversions. But she can't tell Edwin any of that, outside of vague warnings.
Or maybe that's just wishful thinking on my part, because I want them to do more with Vicky aside from Edwin's PTSD flashbacks and the occasional cameo.
I think by now he has certain..."reservations" about Chuck, knowing his darker side with the club. But I don't think he hates or despises him. Moreover, do you really think that Edwin likes Uncle Chuck? I don't think so.
Rosetinted? Hardly! Many, many posts ago I was one of the first to recognise there is more to Sophia Lundgren than met the eye at that point of the game! And if you really read my posts over time, you ´ll see that I know(!) that Sophia can be a dangerous woman and that their longer "meeting" was partly a test. All of the rose tinted discourse about Sophia
It can take only one domino stone...comes from one single F95 user.
Makes sense that she would be perceptive of certain traits given her history, I just put this down to a demonstration of her savviness.especially since her dislike of Chuck at the beginning of the game is very weird and unfounded, given his "friendly uncle" public persona and her friendship with Ian
To be fair, I've been slow walking the hell out of this game so I haven't seen this if it's in the new update... >_<Didn't Edwin ask her about August though?
Oh, I didn't wanted to spoil it for you.To be fair, I've been slow walking the hell out of this game so I haven't seen this if it's in the new update... >_<
I'm just finishing up the Kathleen/Harper scene to gain a bit more trust with the sadistic psycho.
She behaves like any adult person in their 40s. Anyone would think what she thinks about Chuck: you just have to look at him (how he smiles and the look in his eyes). Edwin as a teenager doesn't count: teenagers have no idea about how people really are - they're too busy to understand who they are. Now that he's 21 he pays attention to people.Makes sense that she would be perceptive of certain traits given her history, I just put this down to a demonstration of her savviness.
Agree that she seems to be on a collision course with characters from the club though. Concerns about Edwin, interactions with Ian and her past all face her in that direction.
