I'm not sure. The play through I'm talking about actually posted 10 affection, but said I could add about +4 points because he lost some from spitting on Felicia and shocking her hard. It wasn't a completely fresh play through either, so I figured there's probably also a point here or grabbed.
It's good to hear your total, as I'm trying to come up with a reasonable affection gate for some content in the next update.
I don't have time to do a full investigation, but it from a quick search of the walkthrough it looks like the other things I'm missing are 2 points from having Governor when Rosalind makes her initial offer, and 1 point from not having the threesome with Killian.
I don't see any way to get higher than that, though I didn't check if I'd missed any other points in the early game (for the record I had 14 total affection with Rose when I refused her deal). But 15 is probably pretty close to the hard cap for people who didn't interview Rosalind and turned down her deal.
There're also a few points that can be gained or lost based on how you treat other Carnations during the exhibition (if Rose is there to witness it) so that could be a factor.
Yeah, unsurprisingly I managed to avoid all those penalties (and even racked up a couple extra points by how I treated the others). Turns out being a big softie goes over well with Rose.
It's really just my refusal to have sex with her that causes issues. Go figure.
