Is there something in the air this year? Seems to me that everyone is a bit extra salty in the forums that I read here...
Might just be because we're hitting the climax so there's more drama and more dramatic things to talk about.
I mean, there are such a wide variety of interpretations since dev set quite a few* ambiguities on purpose and I think that's always nice to see. As long as everyone is being civil is what counts.
As for MC's future:
I'm not sure how med school is set up in the states, but iirc over here in the northside of the continent the 'students' do residency after 2 years or 3 years (I forget, maybe it was 4 years) and it's paid pretty nicely - as much as most entry level managers in other industries. Supposedly there is clerkship before that as well which might not be paid? tldr, med isn't too much of a money sink and MC can actually maintain a decent relationship during med as long as he toughs out the first few years
However, what kind of intrigues me is the role Abel plays in this story. He has shown to be 'significant' but has very little screen time while having an interest and overlap with MC (was it mentioned he was a new member as well? I can't remember. But if so, I wonder if Chuck actually greenlighted Abel's membership with MC in mind). Look at it this way, if MC stays in the club, a GP in the club is pretty insignificant compared to the known members. A GP, while respected and wealthy, is *nothing* compared to the average power the members hold. Samson (despite worldwide fame, albeit B-list actor level) is considered a 'smallfry'. A local doctor that works at a clinic or even owns a clinic would be an ant in comparison.
