I feel like the build up at the end of the Hana GF thing was a complete let down. In his head after he talked about Mina and having to tell Hana about it.

Rather than talk to her about the Mina thing, the MC just stays quiet about it and then you have to do a whole series of unnecessary conversations with people about "I have a girlfriend now" that just close off paths. It's really disappointing.

Like here: Perfect Girlfriend #1 Hooray, now choose between cheating with Perfect Girlfriend #2 or never having her at all.
Oh, but if #1 finds out, you're fucked.

Or you can be sex friends with her, which will probably turn out horribly at the end.

Glorious new update time, which means I'm dropping another long-ass post. I have really got to start reigning these in.

General thoughts: the render qualities are still improving, which is impressive. In comparison with earlier updates, the texture of the models just feels that much more refined and "solid", and the complexion of the characters' skin is actually ridiculously well-toned and good looking. And again, the integration of animation and scene transitions are damn near seamless. I did notice that some of the music seemed too quiet in comparison to when the tracks got loud; not sure if that was intentional or not.

Bellisimo - Doug Maxwell, not a new track, but I've really taken a liking to it this update. It fits the dynamic of every interaction between MC and Sophia so well.

Now, onto the content.

WOW. I told myself to watch the word count but somehow I ended up writing even more than last time. I've said this before and I'll say it now and again when the future updates come out: I only ramble so much because the material gives me so much to engage with. And the least I could do, asides from dropping a patreon sub, is to write my thoughts on this amazing game. Now, if only I can try to time it so that I am the 1000th patron, that'd be pretty cool.

Kudos once again TD and GIL, and may we have much more to come.

I mean, look at that toilet paper! What kind of a psycho does that? There really is a proper way -- it goes over. This prevents waste and unnecessary contact of unsanitary surfaces.

Good evening everyone, I played the game up to Chapter 4 update 1, but it was on an old computer (not the one I'm using rn), so I can't continue from the new update this week. Is there a way to do it?

Thanks TD, it means a lot and I appreciate that you and GIL are so accessible as devs while also remaining true to your vision. I can only hope that Sophia plays a big role in that vision and that it was as enjoyable for you both to work on this update as it was for me to play it.

The MC knows Abel as a powerful man who could—on a whim—have him fired, ruin his hopes of a medical career, or worse: this seems ample reason for him to be polite. And on the flip side, he knows that Abel’s influence could be enormously beneficial to him. Both carrot and stick align to urge polite respect, despite the annoying circumstances of Abel’s visit. That the MC was rude instead felt very much out of place to me.

Still, I hope that TD can create a route that aligns with your viewpoint. Perhaps the next time the MC visits the club he can spit in Warrens face—no reason to be polite to a low-life murderer, after all—and see where that takes him.

He knows no such thing. How could Abel have him fired when he has Chuck's support (and in certain scenarios also Kat's and August's)? And how could he ruin his medical career when he doesn't have one? And hypothetically speaking it's not like he could make him blacklisted as a doctor when doctors are in high demand and there's never enough of them (not to mention it will take years for him to become one).

Revealing the club would be the only way I can think of that might have some impact but he would have much more to lose than Edwin in such case. For one, other patrons aren't to be trifled with either and August and Chuck are a murderer and a sociopath so it would be stupid of him to make enemies of everyone. What's more, the stocks of his company could plummet down if people would learn what they are financing. Not to mention that that ship has sailed the moment Edwin agreed to become part of an underground sex club and in the back of his head he must be aware of possible consequences.

So I really do wonder what you mean by "he could ruin him", how exactly would he do that? And even if he could, as far as Edwin knows Abel is just a CEO of a drug company. And we must also assume that in the heat of the moment he remembers it all.

As for your Warren comment - it's silly. It's one thing to be impolite, it's another to spit in one's face. It's one thing to be impolite to a geezer, it's another to someone like Warren (and not just impolite at that)

I think you and a few other people forget that Mina isn't one of the carnations, she hasn't signed up for some really hardcore stuff, at least not as far as Edwin knows. He knows she has a bucket list but before the Ian break-up she seemed like an innocent girl that blushed at the mention of sex (see the scene with balloon people). So it's obvious that Edwin needs to test the waters first before he will start breaking her arms and spitting in her face. It's basically their first date and as far as he knows he has all the time in the world to cross things off her list so why take risks of losing a hen laying golden eggs (in case that "hen" wouldn't like something he would do)?

Honestly, I do get why you wouldn't and it's not like I'm trying to convince you otherwise. Porn is either hot or it isn't after all, and tastes vary. For me, even the club stuff doesn't go as hard as I would personally find enticing. No scene has for me, as of yet.

Still, I hope Edwin holding back comes across as deliberately so rather than incongruent. Even if your MC choked/spanked Rosalind in the parking lot or you pissed on Veronica's face, Edwin is in a different element with Mina. He's out in the "real world" so to speak, on an equal level with her, being asked point blank about something he deliberately represses. He soft balls his answer, comes up with something on the fly, and then only somewhat answers the question truthfully when he's less on the spot.

If that doesn't come across clearly or seem reasonable, it's likely a failing of my own conveyance rather than your understanding.

Don't get me wrong though, I still think you get a damn nice sex scene in my opinion. The boob press on the glass is a technical HS marvel and that final animation + creampie is woo boy. It not ticking any boxes and being disappointed with it is understandable, but I would personally struggle (with complete fucking bias ) to find it dull. At least on a visual level, I think it's one of the game's crowning jewels. If I seem overly responsive here, I guess it's because I'm very very very proud of GIL's work this update.

I loved the animations (especially the creampie, that was deliciously nasty with the squelching sound). The content given was A+ if viewed in isolation. It was purely the fact that there just wasn’t that opportunity to show Mina what the MC is really like. I get the decision to make him more restrained, but when a girl says “destroy me”, to me that’s like releasing Level 0 restrictions from Alucard in Hellsing.

It seems that the MC has got a Freudian Madonna-Whore complex going on with Mina…he doesn’t want to treat her the way she is asking to be treated because he respects her too much, so not only does he repress what he wants to do, but he actively chooses the tamest option instead of something that is maybe a 3 or a 4 on the sadistic scale. And that gives Mina the power in their relationship, because there is no such thing as being on an equal level - one person is always setting the frame of the interactions and taking the lead.

I understood the softball answer and not wanting to be completely honest with Mina. That’s not the issue. I just felt that there should have been some “bleed through” of his true nature during the scene if the player was going down the sadistic route.

I found Edwin reaction completely in line with his character.
Just because he is usually restrained on the way he deals with other people doesn't mean he would just roll over for Abel and his mengelian assistant Sophie. Specially under the circunstances of them breaking and entering his house without permission just to belittle him while giving some, not requested, "sage advice" that didn't really brought anything that Edwin already didn't knew or suspected.

The only thing new their interaction brought was that year old deactivated listening device, which was likely monitoring the guy who held Edwin's job in the past.

Hi Guys,

Love this game and Downloaded the latest release. When I go to load my last save, I only get half a dozen scenes of Killian on the telephone to dad with woman on lying on Sofa, what am I missing? Any other save just crashes game and don't want to start again. Playing on PC, looked through comments and only issue is on Android.

Finally finisheed the update, and damn, I admit it was....... difficult letting go of Mina in order to properly persue Hana.
But oh well, since romancing both Hana (my favorite girl of this game) and Mina (my second favorite girl) is not avaialble, it is what it is.
