If I were you, I'd add an extra choice to the Kathleen scene. Something like "No. I can't compromise myself that much.", leading to some kid of immediate game over in which Edwin dies in abject poverty or something. Not that the game needs it, it would just be a tongue-in-cheek little moment of meta-narrative. I don't feel like there's any dissonance in that particular scene; it serves to dispel any remaining illusions as to what Edwin agreed to do.

Ehh, there's simpler and classic way to deal with that

Even if Mina goes to the club I don't think she'll learn the whole truth. After Hana had her friends over I can see August coming up with a cover. She'll go there she'll see that it's a gentleman's club or something similar.
